It all comes back to fundamentals. From little league on up, you are always taught to protect the plate with two strikes. Granted, I can't see the game right now, but I have seen guys like Cameron and Hall take some beautiful fast balls right down the heart of the plate and never take the bat off their shoulders...
Its not just Hall and Cameron. Rickie has had his share and so has Fielder. I have seen just about every player take a third strike on multiple occasions this year.
You can all it fundamentals, I'll call it accountability. You cant tell me that anyone of these guys hasnt had that preached to them since little league. (There goes another one as I write this (@(&@#*&$)) Bad baserunning, horrible plate approach/dicipline) - call it what you want, this is not a well coached team.
