Thought I'd post the rankings, as of right now, that the developers have for NCAA Football 09.

  1. Georgia - 99 overall (99 offense - 99 defense)
  2. Oklahoma - 96 overall (99 offense - 94 defense)
  3. Ohio State - 99 overall (99 offense - 99 defense)
  4. USC - 94 overall (90 offense - 99 defense)
  5. Florida - 94 overall (96 offense - 94 defense)
  6. LSU - 91 overall (88 offense - 96 defense)
  7. Missouri - 94 overall (96 offense - 92 defense)
  8. West Virginia - 84 overall (90 offense - 80 defense)
  9. Wisconsin - 89 overall (92 offense - 89 defense)
  10. Texas - 89 overall (88 offense - 92 defense)
Meanwhile Michigan is looking great at 84 overall (81 offense - 89 defense). Does anyone have any problems on  your team's rosters?

Where did you find this? Whoever worked on the ratings is a moron. Florida's D 94? Better than Texas? I might give it around 85. Georgia and OSU's O better than Florida's? What are they on. FLorida should be 99 and no one should even touch them up there except for maybe Missouri and WVU.

Also when I meant Florida should be 99 and no one should touch them, I meant on offense, Florida has the best O in the nation, D is pathetic and overall I would rate Florida around 5th with a 93-95 rating

I must say GA at 99 for offense seems a little premature.  We shall see though, when is the game scheduled for release?  This is one game I buy every year.

The game isn't based on points per game, it is based on returning talent and talent potential.  UF's 96 is probably because of the O-line, lack of a proven runninng back, and maybe they makers don't feel there is a real threat outside other than Harvin.

If tOSU is 99 and 99 why is OU ranked ahead of them???  That doesn't make much sense...

This game is like crack to me. I'm one of the nerds that stand outside of GAME STOP at midnight to pick up my copy every year.

It's released on July 15th...less than 2 months from now.

EA Sports has said that these Beta Ratings are not final and WILL CHANGE before the actual game is released.

I will say this to everyone though, the Premature Beta ratings are a little ridiculous...OSU a 99 on offense and defense? As well as UGA, this means that they should score everytime they have the ball and no one should ever score against these teams right?  Besides, no offense but OSU's WR's were UTTERLLY LOCKED DOWN by LSU's corners...no way will their offensive line and backfield alone merritt a 99 overall on offense.

Florida averaged 40 points per game last year in their 8 SEC games...how are they not a 99 overall on offense?....with the Heisman Winner at QB no less...

And UF is a 94 on defense??? Wow, thats pretty generous...but I must say this...HOW IN THE WORLD IS Florida State a 99 overall on DEFENSE???  Their defense was WAY TOO GOOD in the 08 version!!!

I really hope the changes are made to reflect an ACTUAL and REALISTICALLY LOGICAL version of the teams ratings!!!

Trust me It's not because of the O-Line...Check Out This Link...

http://www.operationsports.com/mediaview.php?id=417&page=13

Click on Florida...Our entire O-Line should be rated in the 90's because we basically return all of them...and Proven or Un-Proven doesn't matter in terms of RB or any other position for that matter....

If that were the case OSU's WR's should all be in the mid 80's SINCE NONE OF THEM could consistently get open against LSU's Secondary.

It also shouldn't matter because Chris Rainey is one of the fastest players in the NCAA (4.24/40) and Emmanuel Moody was an 88 overall RB in the game last year with USC with 94 speed...And Tim Tebow is a 99 Overall at QB.....Even with that said...Florida States Defense is rated 99 overall...no way are they 99 overall based on what they proved last year.

They rate players based on scouting reports and formulas derived from actual off season statistics...NOT WHAT THEY PROVED FROM LAST YEAR...If you check the link, a lot of players actually dropped in ratings.

And yea, it makes no sense why OU is ahead of OSU if OSU is 99 overall at life...
