Gmen,

You say Kenny Phillips has sured up your secondary and he is better than Gibril Wilson but is he proven at all? Im not that sold on him just yet, yeah i sounded stupid saying they don't have a solid running game but really they don't have a game breaker.

Brandon Jacobs had a 1000 yards but now a days thats not much

Bradshaw played well at the end but he's not proven at all

Ward is not proven either

You seem like a hard guy to please BMarte22. 1k yards in only 12 games is pretty solid. Ward played 8 games and still ran for over 600 yards. And in Bradshaw's 3 games where he had at least 15 carries he had almost 300 yards and averaged almost 6 ypc. Hell, I don't even like the Giants and I can't call their run game unproven. What do you consider a "gamebreaker" at the RB position Bmarte?

I consider a proven runner someone who has had at least 2 solid seasons, i mean Brandon Jacobs and Ward had solid seasons and you say that when given the chance that Bradshaw can perform but that still doesn't mean that he is going to produce over a full season.

Ryan Moats did well when given the chance but what happened he got injured and disappeared, Brandon Jacobs has had 1 season that has been good, a lot of people have done that i'm just not sold on them.

If the Cowboys stay healthy and get decent contributions from the rookies, I don't see why 13-3 isn't achievable again.

We had a gamebreaker in Tiki Barber.  Also a locker room breaker.  I much prefer the stable of solid running backs with no so called "game breakers" to that situation.  Truth is in the NFL there are rarely more than 5 elite backs at one time.  The trio of backs we have along with one of the best run blocking lines in the league will allow us to be very successful on the ground.  And if they stack 8 in the box, Eli has showed he can pick the man coverages apart.

Eli showed that he could pick apart defenses but does anyone know if that is for real? Trent Dilfer led the Ravens to a superbowl win too.

Trent Dilfer wasn't asked to win games just to not lose them.  Even with 8 men in the box the Ravens ran the ball and Jamal Lewis got it done for the Ravens in the postseason that year along with amazing D and special teams play.  The Giants also had amazing D play but every team in the playoffs that the Giants faced stacked 8 in the box to force Eli to win the game.  Each time he came up with the throws which won the game.  The comparison is laughable.

To punctuate the difference Trent Dilfer's best statistical season (1998 with the Bucs) he posted 2729 yards with 21 TDs with a 52% completion rate.  Eli's worst season (2006) he put up 3244 yards with 24 TDs and a 57.7% completion rate.  In his worst season to date Eli threw more TDs than Dilfer at his best with more than 500 yards and a much better completion rate.

4.5 ypc and 9 TD's in the year before this one for Jacobs, even as a backup. I like the Eagles and I feel forced to defend Brandon Jacobs. God.

Cowboy fans sure can wreak havoc on a thread with their bitter, unreasonable, completely biased analysis of the game. Giants fans have Philly fans defending our team and players because of the obsurdities sprouting from the mouths of Cowboy fans.

Thanks to the Philly fans out there for being non-biased when it comes to football and the NFC East. To the Cowboy fans who like to spout ridiculous analysis, please join the NFC East. It's a great division with great fans.

Now for my analysis:

1. Cowboys 11-5

2. Giants 11-5

3. Eagles 10-6

4. Redskins 8-8

Again the NFC East will be the most competitive division. I believe there will be three teams to enter the playoffs from our division. The Giants, Cowboys, and Eagles have all made improvements in F/A and through the draft. The Redskins have a new coach, unproven as a coach but with some young talent on the team. I think there will be many teams not too happy to be playing the NFC East this season. And I think the winner of
