Obviously I have not been to a Florida game of anykind but everyone gets yelled at or booed when your the number 1 player at another school, I can see how that would be added on to because he was on the defending national title team and now is the reigning Heisman award winner.  But I was not trying to say he shouldn't be on the list was just wondering what your reasoning was is all.

Ohio State would be Public Enemy #2, they arent #1 at anything.

Sorry, I couldnt resist.  But here's my real guy and I think his school does itself a disservice by having an arrogant SOB as its president:

Gordon Gee.

GORDON GEE Of OSU. This guy is the staunchest opponent to a playoff of any kind in college football. Some people say its because he is concerned of how OSU would fare in such a playoff but far be it from me to bash OSU.

He can disintegrate for all I care.  He came from Vanderbilt where he got rid of the AD department to save money.  This guy is all about money and how much he can get and who cares who's left in the wake.

I changed my mind, Ohio State is #1 at something, they have the #1 biggest idiot running their school.

Oh, and its not his position, or his school's position, or his conference's position that I have a problem with, its the way he states his position.

For all you George Bush haters out there, for everything you hate about George Bush, thats the way I hate Gordon Gee.

Jim Delaney. This gas bag is keeping the BCS intact for the benefit of the Big 10 at the expense of the rest of the country. Believe me a playoff in December would be  great--Home games at Wisconsin, Florida, Arizona State or Washington...tell me that home field wouldn't mean something?

The BCS, the NCAA, and the bowls who bribe the powers that be to keep the NCAA from doing what it should, set up a true national championship.

Who is it?

  1. Rich Rodriguez
  2. Jim Delaney
  3. Tim Tebow
  4. The SEC conference
  5. Notre Dame
  6. The BCS
  7. Other

No voting here. Would like to here your replies.

RRod:  WVU fans should be thankful that he put them on the map and  Michigan fans should be glad to have him.

Delaney:  Does what is best for the Big Ten. Isn't that his job?

Tebow:  What's there not to like?

SEC: The SEC is great for college football.

ND: Not relevant enough to be an enemy anymore.

BCS: I'd say this is the only answer out of the 6. I think it wouldn't be hard to find fans from every conference, even every team, that are disgusted with the BCS right now. The other choices are far from enemies.

College fooball's public enemy #1 is any natural occurence that disrupts a game from being held. God knows how much i hate when it is raining and a game has to be canceled or rescheduled.

... high football revenues trickle back down into scholarships for non-athletes and keep tuition rates less ...

Scholarships for non-football athletes, maybe. Athletic departments don't contribute at all to other budgets at the school. The visibility of a high profile football/basketball team gives the school recognition, nothing more.

"Just a question how is Ohio State not on the list... The whole college football nation hates them"

KP....That is just a homerism from the SouthEastCarolina fans. Buckeyes aren't that hated everywere by everyone.

I think it is more like the whole college football nation hates Michigan.......the stands cleared out in the last quarter so everyone could watch the monitors as Appalachian State was beating UM. Then, a tumultous cheer rose all across the country when they were defeated with that blocked field goal on their last desperation drive. When the entire country cheers at your upset defeat, I think that would define Public Enemy #1. Now they're all waiting for Dick Rod to get his come-upance. Guaranteed, that will be the next great cheer. But it won't be his fault he lost, the Govenor made him do it.
