Whether he's guilty or not, Manning should either support him or NO COMMENT.

his comment was neutral. so therefore it was a "no comment" type of response.

Ridiculous... I hardly thik Peyton said anything against Harrison.  Why isn't he allowed to speak exactly how he feels?  Why must he say no comment?  It's kind of refreshing to hear these guys speak their mind.  I believe Harrison has bigger issues to worry about.

come on man.  He basically said no comment but instead of sounding like a jerk he told his reasoning on why he doesn't have a comment.  Normally but not having a comment because you don't know the whole story isn't that supporting harrison in a way?

well he didnt exactly have a no comment for a certain place kicker a few years ago.
so we know what he is capable of. i think since this is of a "legal matter" the team has
put out an no comment response to all team members. go ask the coach for a comment
hes the real leader of the team and leave the players alone. ask peyton what he thinks
about the upcoming season not personal matters of other players.  keep it football

Clearly honesty is Peyton Manning's policy.  He's not afraid to call out a "liquored up, idiot kicker," so if he is going to tell us what he's really thinking.  Manning is doing the right thing, as usual... you don't wanna call Marvin Harrison out until the facts are known, but you don't wanna blindly support somebody who could drag you down too.

As for not screwing over your money maker... being a money maker is no reason for Harrison to get any special treatment.  If he's innocent, it will come out.  Besides, Manning is one of the best QBs of a generation and probably all time... I think the high quality management of the Colts organization can make sure he has enough weapons.
