The Jazz who have the Homecourt advantage from heck this season will need to start strong like they did against Houston and then you will see the Jazz winning in 6 or 7.  Kobe Bryant may be a force but with the way the Jazz have been playing defense there is a great chance he will become less of a factor.

As for Poo Gasol, Okur and Millsap will be forces themselves and he will be forced to move to the outside to guard the "Money".  This will also allow Korver and the rest of the great shooting 2s will launch 3-pointers.

The Jazz just went through the 2nd best defense in the league in a hard-fought battle ... and won.  The Lakers got a bye in the first round and now just think they have to show.  Kobe himself said that he couldn't wait for the Jazz to win so that he could have a challenge...

Again Jazz in 6 or 7.

Yeah, and the Lakers beat the Jazz in Utah in March without Gasol, so where is that great home court advantage?

Lakers in 6, book it.

Where's that vaunted Jazz defense you were talking about?  Looks like the Jazz thought they could "just show up."  The dirtiest team in the NBA is playing like a bunch of girls.

Better get down to that church and do some more praying.

hey man, you have to quit that stupid Utah-heck speech. I'm originally from Utah and I still don't really understand what your lily white tongue is trying to convey.  Are you trying to say that the Jazz can't win on the road? Or, maybe that the Jazz lose at home? Both are stupid statements anyway

As for the rest of you:
21 foul shots for Kobe? You don't think at least 6 of those were the "Oh-he's-Kobe!" gratuity calls? Did we watch the same game? Subtract those six points and with 4 minutes left there is a totally different ballgame. The Lakers are not going to stroll through this series. (By the way I live in SoCal and I am versed in Laker hysteria). The Jazz are in LA to win one game, and with more rest and preparation, game 2 seems like a good one to take.

To HELL with cocky Laker fans—straight to HELL, and to HECK (i suppose) for stupid Jazz fans,
jdez

So what if they put the whole Jazz team on Kpbe. Thats when Gosol, Odem and company score with assists from Kobe.

The Laker bench also will out class the Jazz. The Jazz are well coached but don't have the horse power to deal with the

Laker steam roller.

Lakers in 5. The Jazz may win one but I doubt it.

I hope you are right. I am a bit skeptical however, because of Boozer's weak game the past month. I hope he comes out of the funk, but I doubt it. If they play hard they have a chance to win it, I'm not sure they are that strong mentally; but I hope to be proved wrong.

Da Ezzy$...you crack me up with your post. "oh-he's-Kobe" gratuity calls, well, dont you remember when Karl "i cant deliver mail when it counts"Malone use to get those type of calls. Also when Stockton use to flop
