OUTSTANDING, ROCK!!!!!!!!!! I bow down to the master!!!!!!!! Clapton's not god, you are!!!!
"I've got blisters on my fingers ' from praising you!!!! The best part is that I though the answer was something else completely which I confess to when I have more time. Don't you hate it when you set out to show how smart and end up proving that you are a complete MORON?!!!! Must be the percs(did I actually misspell perks????) the good dr. gave me for my shots. I am fine Lennon and looking forward to me 4th knee surgery in August. Be back later.
I wonder if someone can help me track down the ID of a song. I'm pretty sure its the early 1970s. It's kind of fast, avcoustic-based with the opening words, Seee-eee how they run!
The main words i remember are , 'You know, yeah you know, you know, yeah you know, you know what you're doing.' The harmonies are high CSNY style, and one vocal sounds like Stills, but I'm sure its not them.
Googling those few lyrics i remember got me nowhere. Does it ring a bell?
When there's so much trouble that you wanna cry
The world has crumbled and you don't know why
When your hopes are fading and they can't be found
Dreams have left you waiting, friends have let you down
A quiet man of music
Denied a simpler fate
He tried to be a soldier once
But his music wouldn’t wait
He earned his love
Through discipline
A thundering, velvet hand
His gentle means of sculpting souls
Took me years to understandLeader Of The Band - Dan Folgelberg
Suffering in silence, they've all been betrayed.
They hurt them and they beat them, in a terrible way,
Praying for survival at the end of the day.
There is no compassion for those who stay.
