That's 2! Seriously though, that was a great game. Solid pitching, nice bullpen work, and a few clutch hits. I'd like to see that more often.

This was a very good one. I was very happy for Mark Kotsay getting the game-winning hit against his former team. If only the winning run had been scored off of Joey Devine, it would have been a perfect foot-in-mouth opportunity for the folks who criticized that deal.

Good point.  We still have 2 more games to get Joey Devine though.  I would love to see it happen.

Mark Kotsay has been huge thus far.  If he can stay healthy, and that's a big IF, he really could put up a VERY solid year for the Braves!

VolPride98, I think Mark Kotsay was a perfect acquisition for the Braves. They made it clear that they were looking for a short-term solution until one of the prospects in the farm system was ready to play every day.

They didn't need to go out and get a big-name star who would cost a lot of money and require a long-term deal. Kotsay fit the need perfectly.
