How Many wins will the Raiders have in 2008? Before you answer consider this: The Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers have been the worst teams in the league the past three seasons with identical 13-35 records, one game worse than the lowly Houston Texans.
The books have set the line at 6.5 wins for the Raiders this year and the public has jumped all over the under, driving the price all the way up to -150. Gee, you would think that would help push Al Davis over the edge, Maybe he can pawn some of that jewlery and place a bet on the over if he is so confident.

I am going to have to go with 6 wins. I think they have made some improvements but the leadership in the organization will lead to their demise.

I picked them at 5 wins. I just don't see the Raiders living up to those odds.

I picked less then 3 just to be a dick but I think they'll get around 5 or 6 wins since they aren't a total pushover anymore.

Just a little more information on the astounding Raiders hopes for 2008. Looking at their 2008 schedule, it is not hard to see why. The Raiders play eleven games against teams many would pick to be playoff contenders. Some of those are on the cusp and may not make it, like the Chiefs and Cardinals, but the Raiders are nowhere even close to being anybody’s pick to make the playoffs.

Attaboy! Other game that I gonna look forward to this year... Houston Texans take on Oakland smelly Raiders on Dec 21st but conflicting with Broncos vs Buffalo Bills (same time) I might have to put up with missing some of Broncos games since I'm living in Houston. Texans gonna BBQ Raiders in Black Hole for sure (I hope...)!

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to make a thread concerning our beloved Raiders. We all knew deep down that Broncos fans really cared, but this is above and beyond.......Bullshite!

Anyway, having one of the weakest schedules in the NFL this year and some added talent I see us at 6-7 wins, and if we have any luck a few more? Having a somewhat easier schedule than the last few year, the Raiders better take advantage or it will be another long season. Still, I think we will be much improved over last year.

Much of this depends on how Russell plays. The Raiders and the whole AFC West have VERY EASY schedules.

So, believe it or not I'd take the over on that. I said 7 wins. But if possible I'd wait to see how Russell looks in the preseason. I don't think the Raiders have a better record than the Broncos though. Based on the easy schedule I'll give the Broncos 10-11 wins.

The Chiefs had a good draft but all that young talent will take time to gel and will not help much this year. I could see the Chiefs being swept in the AFC this year. Yes, I know the Chiefs are always tough at home but the team will be very young and still have many glaring weaknesses.

So the Raiders and Bro
