It would have been nice if EG would have had an attitude of wanting to leave the program in a good place.  But me winning the lottery would be nice too.

I do not resent him, and certainly wish him the best.  Hopefully, he'll do a little better then Bracey Wright, AJ Guyton, etc.....

For what it's worth though, I do not think he is ready.  Having a chance to see Beasley, Rose, Love, and Mayo play late in the year, Gordon is not in their league right now.  At least not when you talk about Beasley, Love, or Rose.

He will go in the top 6-8, but would have benefitted from another year.  I think he might of considered staying if Sampson were still around.  But like many others, I'm glad KS is gone and if that means losing a "slim chance" at keeping EG for 1 more yr, so be it.

GO IU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish him all the best in the NBA.  I do not resent him leaving at all.  I am glad to see him go to the NBA because I think that after Sampson left Gordon quit on us.

Eric Gordon at the beginning of the season looked like someone who could of been maybe at least thought of as being the number one player taken in the upcoming NBA draft. When the whole Sampson thing surfaced he just seemed to lose his desire and wasn't the same player. I think he is making a wise decision going pro as he will be a top 7 player and has a guaranteed contract for millions. Plus Indiana is going to be in rebuilding mode for at least 2-3 years. So their is a lot for him to gain by going pro... You can't blame a kid if I was guaranteed millions and to be on an NBA team I would do it in a heart beat. Why come back? He could get injured or just have a horrid season. Chris Marcus from Western Kentucky was a guaranteed lottery pick his Junior season got injured came back for his senior season didn't get drafted the next year...

I sure don't resent somebody who was a premeditated one and done player. I think he will do ok in the NBA. He'll have players that will be able to catch his passes and vice versa. He obviously already has the three point arc range down, so he'll do just fine, but I think he should've stayed in college. His numbers all went down as last season progressed this past season.

"Hoosierdalet" I thought all the uneducated bafoons were just in Louisville. Good way to greet someone and call them an idiot. For no apparent reason ;0)

I wasn't being rude or nasty. Just giving my opinion... I guess Bloomington is just as bas as "THA VIL!" Or just some of the people whom reside there are. ;0)

I wish Eric Gordon the best in the NBA. Personally I think he was immature as a basketball player to go on to the NBA. I also think he is overrated as a player. Most players are suppose to get better as the season went on, and Eric Gordon went downhill, not up. But I do wish him the best...

Yeah I can't wait to see where he ends up.  Having him and DJ in the NBA will give me a reason to watch the NBA now.  He'll do fine there, I was pretty surprised to see the numbers from the combine a lot of people had him listed as the best athlete at the whole combine.  He's such a beast I definitely wish him the best and thank him for the thrills and chills he game me throughout this past year.  He is a very exciting player to watch.
