In the spirit of Spygate not going away keeping our arch-nemeses in the news for all the wrong reasons, I think its time for every Jets fan give their number 1 reason that they hate the New England Patriots.
My personal reason came from when I saw Tom Brady on 60 minutes. He's so smug that if I ever met him in person I would punch him in the face.
...might be a bit of jealousy just because he gets any girl he wants and he knows it but I dont care.

The number one reason I hate the New England Patriots??? Hmmmmm....SIMPLE!!!
THE FANS....Bunch of bandwagon losers!!! I didn't even know the Patriots had a team, not too mention a fan base before 1999, and now they have the biggest following pretty much in sports!!! Its a joke, just like all sport teams from the Boston area...I mean the Sox before 2004?? No one admitted to being a fan...The Patriots fans are by far the worst human beings ever!! Bunch of losers with stupid accents!!!

Are you kidding about the Red Sox? I lived in Boston for a while, Red Sox fans are some of the most loyal, and die hard fans in baseball. They have always been that way, way before 2004.
The biggest reason I have for hating the Patriots is because they are so good. When we beat them in NE 2 seasons ago, I was so happy. I also get that happy when we beat Miami.

I guess what I meant to say about the Red Sox fans was the arrogance...I know they are die hards, but you never heard a peep out of them in the sports world until 2004!!! I guess winning does that to you tho!!!

haha, well every other team thinks that all Jets fans are arrogant also. Which is the lesser evil, being arrogant when they have won 3 superbowls in less than 10 years, or us being arrogant when we haven't won since party animal Joe Namath? I guess maybe that is why. We need to have an inflated sense about ourselves, or else we would get disheartened.

As a Red Sox fan (though not as rabid as some), I will say that Red Sox Nation has always been loud and obnoxious. The big difference between RSN and Patriots fans (though they are more often than not one in the same) is that Sox fans will at least say that the Sox are sucking bad when they actually are. You'll actually hear fans saying "The Sox deserved to lose that game. They were playing like shit." But when they get on the subject of the Patriots, it takes a nasty turn and anytime something goes against the Patriots' favor, they blame everyone but themselves. "It was a conspiracy" "Bad reffing" and my favorite, "If (the other team) hadn't scored that touchdown in 3rd quarter, the Pats would have won, so you can't REALLY say that the Pats actually lost!"
So yes, it's the fans that I hate the most.

My biggest problem with the Pats is the same as that of a lot NFL fans. It's not that they've been successful, it's that they've been quite a bit too successful for my taste. I'm not a big fan of dynastic teams in any sport, simply because it's quite boring to have the same team winning every year. So I felt the same way about the Lakers and Spurs in b-ball; and the Yankees, and now the Red Sox in baseball. I prefer to see the underdog or comeback victory, such as: the Giants win over the Pats, or the Pats own SB victory over the Rams several years ago. As for some Pats players/coach:
Tom Brady has turned-out to be one of the best. His only real competitor is Peyton Manning, whom he's now taken the single-season passing TD record from. and since he's a good (great?)-looking California boy who dates supermodels ... it's all very iconic.
Randy Moss is a total deuce. He's an example of someone can be a team cancer and basically choose not to play for a couple of years; but then he gets on a winning team (for virtually no compensation to either him or Oakland) but is in a Super Bowl and in the record books with the single-season TD reception record. Not exactly a working-class hero.
Ted Bruschi: he's a cartoon character! That's what I think when I see him.
Bill B: has provided the rest of the NFL with it's own Darth Vader.
The Red Sox - Yankees rivalry is a different issue. Boston's comeback after being down 0-3 in the 2004 ALCS was one of the greatest ever. The Yankees have their own detractors, myself included, especially since they got A-Rod. But I'm not a Sox fan (Big Papi, ManRam? what a couple of jokers) and would've preferred to see Cleveland (CC!) in the Series last year. I tend to follow individual baseball players more than teams (side effect of fantasy baseball. I like the AL over the NL despite the DH.

its as simple as we hate the Patriots because we are Jets fans, and they are our biggest rivals we have to be beat them in order for us to get respect and win our division, but if you want more reasons, there is plenty, even if i wasnt a jets fan i would hate the patriots, because Tom Brady is the gayest qb in the nfl, just look at his crybaby face every time things go wrong, also all of their players are cocky and seem to think they are the sweetest things ever. i cant stand Randy Moss, and the fact he looks like steve-0 from jackass, and Mike Vrabel, he thinks hes a wide reciever but he just gets lucky and for some reason no one guards him when he comes in the game, so he catches a touchdown and everyone considers him to be a great linebacker because he can catch a touchdown? and then on top of all of that, bill belichick, he cheats, he lies, hes shady, and doesnt care about anyone except himself and being a rat bastard. so you know what, it sucks for anyone who is a patriots fan because thats what you are automatically assosiated with. even if your just a fan that likes them because you live there or where brought up to like them and thats your team, well that sucks.. 18-1 called... and said, you just lost the superbowl what are you going to do next, and of course they responded with, CHEAT.

i am as much a die hard red sox fan as i am a Jets fan and sox fans are loyal all the way just like jet fans are if you want to talk shit aboput a baseball team lets talk about the yankees biggest ass hole fans i think nexst to the pats i wore my jets jersey to a yankee game and they were ass holes
