Greg Maddux back to the Braves???

I think it would be a good idea for the Braves to try and trade to bring back Maddux. I grew up loving watching him pitch for the Braves and in his last 4 starts his e.r.a. is 2.52!! With Smoltz going back to the pen and Hampton looking like he will never pitch I would love to see Maddux back and I truely think he can help out as well. Huddy, Glavine, Jurrjens, Maddux, James/Reyes. Not a bad starting rotation if you ask me. Im not sure what we would have to give up for him but I wanna see it done.

If the Braves are going to be serious about making the post season this year they have to address the need for starting pitching.

Unless they can get a younger guy and get him signed to an extension like Brad Penny, CC Sabathia, or Ben Sheets, I think that Greg Maddux would definitely be a welcome addition to the Braves pitching staff.  I wouldn't think that the price to acquire him would be too high at his age.
