Well, I see someone wanted to know what our record lifetime against the Steelers was. So I did some research and this is what I came up with:

We beat the Steelers 3 years in a row and are a lifetime 12 - 8 against the Steelers including that playoff victory last year.

Interesting Fact Here:

Most rushing yards by a runningback (opponent) in Three Rivers Stadium - Fred Taylor - 30 att 234 yds 3TDs 7.8 YPC.

Most rushing yards by a runningback (opponent) in Heinz Field - Fred Taylor - 25 att 147 yds 1TD 5.9 YPC.

I just wanted to put that out there.

By the way, Fred Taylor had his agent buy two pieces of turf from the non existent Three Rivers Stadium when they closed it down to put in his archives for his best single game performance.

I think it's really funny how ESPN and everyone else keeps putting the Cowboys, Steelers and all of the teams we seem to beat every time we face them over us. Didn't we convincinly beat the Chargers last year?

Yeah, I don't see why they think the Chargers are all that great. I mean, I think they could be top 5 but I'm not too high on Phillip Rivers. He wasn't all that great before his injury and the injury just adds more questions. They are a top 5 team, but them, along with the Steelers and Cowboys tend to get overrated a lot.

I can remember being in a gym in Charleston, SC watching that game where Fred Taylor went over 200 yards.  Everybody in the gym kept stopping to watch him run.  Most of us couldn't work out anymore cuz we were laughing too hard.

You ought to go post this thread on the Steelers board. It's always kind of funny to rile up the Steelers fans.

Yeah for some reason ESPN has a hard on for us in a negative way. It's not like we have never been division ever in the existence of the franchise. The only thing we have to do now is win a Super Bowl. Our team is one of the best out there and with the addition of this new defensive co-ordinator our defense should be even more stellar.

The Jaguars sell one ticket to every twenty people that live in Duval county. What other team can say that. Jacksonville is alot better off than what ESPN is leading on to. They have some very shotty reporting.

duvalbulldog

you are tell me about shotty reporting. i get espn magazine and i was reading that hater article about how jacksonville is too much of a college football town to care about the Jaguars. well they were talking about the playoff game against the Steelers and they said that the game was in a snow storm when david made that 30 yard scramble on 4th down. um if i was watching the same game as you i didnt remember seeing any snow. lol they got the regular season game and the playoff game ass backwards. they last all credibility when i read that. espn and mel kiper jr. too busy dry humping the Patriots to care about the jags.

If Fragile Fred can play anywhere near last season........Why the hell do you still call him "fragile fred"? Thats annoying as hell.

Yeah, they don't even try to freakin hide it. At least don't make it so damn obvious. When the Pats lost the SB I felt like I was watching a freakin funeral instead of ESPN. Jeez.
