	You probably wouldn't know this because you have very little knowledge of Christianity but the commandments (which is given in the New Testament and has nothing to do with the 10 Commandments) go something like this. Oh, but I do. You overestimate yourself, but that's okay. Would you care to discuss St. Augustine, St Thomas Aquinas, St. Anselm or perhaps Renee Descartes. They are very fundamental to the way your religion is today, so since you are such an expert, I'm sure you have plenty of info on each, or do you not study into the deeper parts? These are the commandments of Christ. These are the translations you choose to recognize. I'm sure you are aware of the many translations and different versions of the bible. Exactly which one is correct? I'm sure the one you are correcting me from is it. The 10 commandments were given as a part of judaism, but Christianity is the teachings of Christ So, your trying to tell me that christ was a jew but didn't believe in his own faith, which included the 10 commandments.

	The biggest misconception about homosexuality is that they are 'different'. That is the only card they have to be able to push bogus lawmaking that has absolutely NOTHING to do with marriage. Homosexuality is a sexual preference. So by their logic of "marriage", if someone has a sexual preference for animals, say, specifically goats, should that be considered a marriage? What about for inanimate objects such as dildos or blow up dolls? The WHOLE point of marriage is that, whether in a church or not, it is a union of a man and woman UNDER GOD...that is what MARRIAGE IS. The oldest documentation we have on it is the scriptures of Genesis which is in the BIBLE. If you have older that says it is otherwise...like if its for money or financial reasons as some fools think...please, enlighten us with some legitimate proof to back it up, and I will call myself a fool. Yes, I know that many ancient cultures (as well as modern ones) married for money and other 'things' but it doesn't make it marriage in the sense that it was under God...just like there are many 'sham' marriages today, there were 'sham' marriages back then. And why get married for financial reasons or sex?...to trick your wife into thinkng you love her when really, you just love the sex, money , and tax breaks associated with marriage?...that is despicable but probably the case of why so many "marriages" fail today. And, btw, I actually am supportive of legal civil unions between people of the same sex because it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what their sexual preference is. You can leave that sht in the bedroom...keep it out of the courts, out of the government, and out of the definition of marriage. But when it's about hijack something it doesn't make it yours...it just makes it stolen and that's what homos are doing to the term 'marriage' and this is what this is really about. It doesn't mean 'marriage' if it's not between a man and a woman under the authority of God by the original definition and intention that has been used throughout history...it is something else being called that and it is not right. It is simply trying to justify something they know is wrong by calling it something that is intended to benefit mankind under the authority of God. Without that...there is NO BENEFIT to being married! So should the English language change marriage to another word or redefine it so includes a sexual preference? If homosexuals or adulterers or any others want to have their own word/term for homosexual unions, make up your own...stop hijacking this one.

Studying the origins of a religion and knowing it are 2 different things. Knowing it something that's in your heart, not some intellectual pursuit. Or maybe you don't believe in such things. These are the translations you choose to recognize. I'm sure you are aware of the many translations and different versions of the bible. Exactly which one is correct? I'm sure the one you are correcting me from is it. Because there are different versions of the book, it doesn't change what the God said. Jesus makes it very clear that these are the 2 commandments we must govern our lives by. They are the fundamental pillars of the Christian faith today, so not just some translation that I choose to recognize. They are the words that Christians recognize and follow. So, your trying to tell me that christ was a jew but didn't believe in his own faith, which included the 10 commandments Jesus the man was a Jew, yes. But are you forgetting the minor detail that He was also God? God is not a jew. God has no religion. Jesus said Himself that He came for the Jews and Gentiles, that all may receive salvation. Since when did this thread become an attack on Christianity? Didn't you get enough of that with Aboy4christ?
