I can't wait either OSUBOB! I do want to say how much I enjoy reading the post on here. However I forget who said it but I would agree that Boston fans seem to be counting their chickens before they are hatched! All this talk of what Boston is going to do against the Pistons is a little premature to say the least. Cleveland has had little problem defeating Boston at home in this series, and I don't see that changing tonight. Boston on the otherhand has had mucho problemo with the CAVS in Beantown. In fact, I would go as far as to suggest that Boston didn't so much WIN games 1 and 3 as Cleveland LOST them. So just be forewarned Bostonians. This is far from over. That being said If Boston goes in tonight and handles the road pressure and indeed wins the series, I will be the first to congratulate them and start rooting for them to beat Detroit. Good luck to all and talk at you tonight during the game.

Only way the Cavs will have a chance of winning this series is if the whole team steps up... and we all know how often that happens... I've only seen it happen once this far. All the Celtics need is production from Pierce and maybe Allen if he decides to come out, and Rondo is tearing up the Cavs. People are starting to underestimate the Celtics.

Talk about underestimating someone! Now the Cavs can be beat single-handedly by Paul Pierce with maybe Allen? I will agree Rondo had a superb GAME in game 5 but he is by no stretch of the imagination "tearing up the Cavs" I hope Mike Brown sees what everyone watching on TV sees and that is Rondo favors his right! They should make adjustments accordingly and slow him down tonight. Hopefully the "alien" won't come in and get hot!
And let me clarify an earlier comment I made. I definitely give Boston credit for winning games 1 and 5. I'm just saying that the Cavs definitely had their chance to win them and did not take advantage of it.Games 2 and 4 in Cleveland seemed to be more decisive.

I actually think the CAVS role players have played real well ans "stepped up" in this series. The 2 games they won were with James only scoring around 20 whne we are used to 30 a game. Have gotten really good production from D West and Wally, Joe Smith off the bench... I have been pretty happy so far with their play... if they just hit some free throws and turn the ball over 2 or 3 less times this series could be over. I understand also that Boston could say the same thing but thats what I mean this series has been a helluva lot more competitive than most thought originally... I think the cavs hold serve on home court tonight!

Hey BOB,
Do me a favor tonight at the game. If you see a semi-plump guy with a LeBron James jersey on, but instead of the name James he has his last name Atassi on it punch his A-S-S out cold. He is one of my good friends but he hes the biggest curse when he goes Cavs home games. They always lose when he's in attendance. I would do it myself but I live in NC now so it might be a bit difficult. he will be there tonight as well, so I am counting on you man, dot he Cavs and their fans a great service.

My humble opinion...The Celts end it tonight. Though I still think their end of game play calling is very questionable I think the Veterans of this team step up tonight and win. Allen is getting his stroke back and when he is playing well the Celtics roll. He stretches out defenses and makes Rondo better. He opens up Posey and Pierce for double reverses and shots. He makes teams pay for doubling KG...I think if Allen shows up and knocks down shots early the Celtics win this going away. The other thing I see is Rondo maturing and becoming an elite point guard in the league. Don't get all crazy and think I am comparing him to C-Paul but I think Rajon will be an elite PG in the league. C's move on 98-84

This is my favorite time of year in sport. NCAA just ending, NBA playoffs and tennis season getting geared up. There is however no fan more passionate than an NBA fan. OSU do enjoy the game and no matter the winner, think of it as an experience!

I'm soooo jealous OSUBOB! Last playoff game I went to, we lost to the Bird coached Pacers! So it's been awhile. Have fun and definitely keep an eye out for The Fake Lebron jersey. If they win he'll appreciate that you knocked him out!

Despite Gibson being out for game 6, I look for the cavs to win tonight at home and take the series back to Boston for game 7.
Hopefully it's the Cavs moving on, but either way, beat Detroit!!

I have been to a bunch luckily... last year game 5 in detroit and game 6 in cleve (yes I saw James in person go off in game 5, then saw Boobie go off in game 6). I live in Detroit right now so I am about to leave to drive down for the game. I was also at game 6 in Cleve in 06 when they should have closed out the Pistons... so I have seen both sides of the spectrem in person but only playoff game I have been to that they lost was that game in 06

Gibson being out is really going to hurt the Cavs. Do you put Damon Jones in and risk his sub par defense? He seems to have lost face to the coaches seeing how he hasn't played at all recently. I can see Mike Brown playing without a pg when Delonte West isn't in the game. It would be an interesting move and would create a good mismatch sizewise against Rondo.

Wheres Tribe been?Tribe has been gone for 16 hours, not exactly a noteworthy amount of time to be gone. Maybe he has more important stuff going on at this moment besides basketball. I'm sure he will be back for the game tonight don't worry Sheeds.
