Before you post, feel free to read my blog:

http://descendency.blogs.sportsline.com/mcc/blogs/view/8347748 (it's long)

or read this (it's sort of long too. Sorry. I tried to use topic sentences and numbers though):

What really bothers me about spygate isn't that everyone thinks the Patriots are now cheaters. What bothers me is the amount of ignorance surrounding the situation.

1. It's LEGAL and ACCEPTED to scout opposing teams signals. Yes, that's right. You can look at their hand motions all you want. What you can't do is tape them from the sidelines. However it only requires simple math (puzzle solving basically) to determine what signals mean what. If you simply right down what the signals were on the pictures that each team takes of every play (allowed by the NFL and done by all 32 teams in the NFL as the ONLY technology allowed on the field to record the game by the teams), then you could quickly figure out what the signal is and who it comes from.

If there are 4 signal callers and you see a safety blitz one play, then there are 4 possible signals. If you see the same safety blitz a few plays later, unless they use the same 4 signals, there will be at least 1 signal from one signal caller that isn't the actual signal caller. Once you determine who is the signal caller, you merely have to write down what the signal is and what the play was. It's sort of like playing Sudoku. If they use the same 4 signals, it doesn't matter. Because though they are using 4 people, it will look like 1 person. When you see any of the 4 signals, you should expect a safety blitz.

2. It's BIASed AGAINST road teams. Home teams are always on the same side as the press box. They are allowed to tape from the press box. You can easily get an HD camera to zoom in and take the signals from the press box of the AWAY team. It is IMPOSSIBLE to see the home team's bench or signal callers, therefore the same can not be done by the away team. The ONLY way for them to do it is in an unsanctioned place (which is illegal).

Still waiting for a counter argument.
