Personally for me. I am looking forward to playing at Vandy because we have a butt woopin for them waiting in our pockets.

I am still upset about how Vandy handled that game. They were killing us and then they put their starters back in late in the second half. Its just down right rude and shows no class by the coach.

We owe them a 50 point woopin.

Anyone else agree?

I completely agree. Kevin Stallings acted like a jackass in that game. There was no reason to reinsert the starters with the lead they had. Even putting class and/or tact aside, why risk injuring starters on a tournament team? And don't get me started on Vandy's gym...benches at the end of the court? Really? Who ever thought that was a good idea?

That's exactly what frustrates me about playing at Vandy... because no matter how great or lousy their team is, you end up playing the arena more than the players.

IU.. why because i live in indiana and they rubbed it in my face that they won by 19 without Gordon... now this year they only have 8 scholorship players and no returning starters with only one player that averaged more than 5 points with Crawford and he is not even that good..so basically we are gonna destroy them by 38 and i will just get to laugh in everyones face

I guess none of you have heard thestory about Stallings exchanging words with UK's sports and info director after the game.  Apparently the guy from Uk(can't remember his name) said something to Stallings about putting the starters  back in at the end of the gameand they had an exchange of words.  Stallings said  " Apparently you don't remember I was on the other end of one of these a few years ago and it was way worse then this.  I WILL BEAT UK AS BAD AS I CAN EVERY TIME I PLAY THEM!"  Stallings was refering to the 60+ point beat down that UK handed Vandy in 2003 on their way to going 19-0 in the SEC.  In 3 consectutive halfs in 2003 UK outscored Vandy 152-60 ,NOW THAT'S BAD!!!
Just thought I would add this little note.  2003 was the best season that UK has had since they won the title WITH PITINO'S PLAYERS in 1998.  they won 26 strait games and went 19-0 in the SEC and won the regular season and SEC tourny titles on their way to the #1 overall seed in the NCAA tourny.  Guess who beat them on the front and back end of that 26 game winning streak???  Two C-USA teams,  Louisville beat them by 19 and Marquette dropped them by 20 plus.   Your best team in 10 years won 26 strait in the SEC but got blown out by 2 teams from C-USA!!!!!!!!!!  Can't wait till this years game in Freedom Hall.

You must have forgot that the only reason Marquette beat us that year is because Bogans got hurt 2 days earlier in a game against Wisconsin. If Bogans had been in that game and not been hurt, we would have won that game and gone on to win our 8th.

Im not playing the what if game but people who throw that crap game in our face makes me mad.

The UofL game is going to be a good game this year, I am excited to see how it goes. We will have a better team next year too. So, it wont be as easy as it was this past year.

Diehard- you do have the facts most of the time, but the losses you are talking about were by 18 and 14 points.  I don't know what the point is--but Ky is 17-9 against UL snice the rival was started again in 1983.  Even snice the Pitino era, Ky is 4-3.

I would give UL the advanage for the next game, but I rembemer Sparks hitting three FTs that gave Ky a win in another  game that UL was expected to win.

The UL game is what I am looking forward to next season, and I guess that is your point also.

Hey DIEHARD I also vaguely remember that Cardinal team losing by 31 points to Texas Christian University, am I correct? And yeah, Dwayne Wade was a monster that game.

Keith Bogans was the key that year, he made everything work. Was like clock work. When he got hurt in the wisconsin game we didnt have a chance against Marquette, if we have had Bogans, then who knows. But I dont want to play the What if scenarios, cause that just makes me mad.

I do remember this cross over by Cliff Hawkins Diehard. Check it out, you might like it.
