Obama for President

Thanks for the compliment hotcarl.  As are you my friend, A GREAT AMERICAN.  Now lets beat the left at their own game.

Since many on the left feel free health care is a right, lets take it one, two, three, steps further.  Health care is a necessity, but even more so is food, therefore we should all have free food.  Transportation is a necessity, I want my free car, bus ride, train ride, plane ride, boat ride, whatever, and the gas to run it,  this should be provided free of charge by the government.  Shelter is a necessity, Uncle Sam can afford my mortgage as well as everone elses.  I deserve a high paying job, no problem, government to the rescue.  Wait, with all this global warming I need a new wardrobe, after all clothing is a necessity, especially here in Wisconsin during winter.  My size is large tall, my pants are 34 X 34, (Wrangler Blue Geans).  Pony up Washington, this is my right.  Take care of me oh great nanny government

Or was it it Bush/MCCain is stupid/evil/etc, Obama is a closest Muslim, Hillary is a man etc. If so, I think I'll pass lol.

I had an interesting night. I went to Miami as I was invited to a conference by my professor. They had an open bar at the reception last night and I took full advantage of it. It was at a cool restaraunt on the water right next to the City Hall in Miami.

I got pretty toasted and wanted to hit up the Sandbar before we went back to the hotel. It was supposedly a popular bar with UM students. So I got on my Gator gear and went out hehe.

On the way though you'll never guess who I run into.

OJ SIMPSON! I was stunned. I was like, "OJAAAYYYY!". Lol he was drunk off his @$$ as well and turned and laughed at me and then proceeded to shake hands and talk with a patrolling cop who acted like he was some rock star.

It was a crazy nite. Kind of feel weird though that even a known murderer elicits a response like that. I definitely don't respect the guy, but I guess it was all the Newcastle in me and the surprise of running into someone so infamous.

Anyway, this is not the point of the story.

I was talking with my professor about many things and it was really interesting. He's from India and had traveled the world so he has first hand experience with many countries and their governments.

Let me say, I have a new appreciation for this country. I never thought America was evil and have always loved this country but like everyone I get caught up and irritated about things here, but compared to most other countries we have it sooooo good guys. Even when things are bad, they are so much better than overseas. We are really blessed. I will still distrust the government strongly, but I think we need to all get off the soap box once ion a while (definitely me included) and realize how good we have it compared to others. Remember, there are a lot more people trying to get in here than out.

Just enjoy life and do what you can to make the world betters as well and it doesn't have to included anything with government.

Oh and on a side point, he thought France was the most insane and ridiculous country he had ever seen. I loved that tidbit lol.
