I am not saying the boys weren't a dynasty, but the pats are and will build on that dynsaty.
i don't think the chants and ?'s are going to effect their game this isn't high school. If they can secure home field advantage they will make it back to the superbowl, and with their schedule they should. All the haters will be shut up with their talk of cheating as they win yet another ring!

Well, let's just see here.....they forgave Ray Lewis for murder, the Broncos for stealing two Super Bowls, the Cowboys for being all drugged up, the 49er's for tampering, the Dolphins for buying tapes and tampering, the Jets for doing the same thing the Patriots were accussed of....oops, they were losers so no one cared,
Exactly, except 9 years later and I've had the "Ray Lewis is a murderer" thing thrown in my face about 50 times in the past year on these boards.
That happened nine years ago so Pats fans, plan on hearing abut SpyGate for years and years to come. People don't let things go.

Personally, I'll never feel that they deserved those champsionships that they had to cheat to get... but everything that happens to the franchise in the future should be fair. They'd be pretty stupid to try to get away with more of that bs now.

I like the ESPN sportsnation poll results maps, because it shows that even if all of one teams homers vote one way and skew the results one way, you still get to see the results from every state.

1997-1998. Salary cap violation. Ask yourself this; with out either Elway or Sharpe would they have won?

They will always remember the Robert Kraft/Bill Belichick era as Cheats not Champions.
As it should be.
But years down the road when Kraft sells, and Bill Belichick still remains on the outside looking into the NFL Hall of Fame, it will not be held against the Team name.
But these Patriots should never be forgotten for reducing the NFL to WWF standards.
