The only thing missing in our BLT, Astros fans, was a Pickle... Pence has stepped up and provided that. Some people like some Mayonnaise on their BLT... Matsui came back from the DL to provide that...
So what now? Well, the only part of our BLT that's been a bit "off-tasting" as of late.... was the lettuce. A little.... soggy? Not as crisp as we like it?
Carlos Lee goes 3-3 in his final 3 ABs of Thursday's game... with two singles and a homer. One of the singles went off the wall and hit the fielder in the side of the head (ouch)... he's the only Astro this week to challenge Berkman on the homer pace.... sadly getting nothing but solo dingers, however.
This bodes well for the coming weeks. I think Carlos Lee is set to blast off.
We'll all be enjoying some crisp lettuce come late-May, methinks.
