Here is my theory on what happened. i believe there were evidence but the Comish and Walsh reached an agreement because if it turned out to be true, then the Goodell will have to find someway to reverse history and give the superbowl to the Rams. It would take the whole league into chaos because then the Eagles and Panthers might want to take it up with the Patriots as well. Im not a patriots fan nor do i hate the patriots but its a pity something like this had to come up. I say just fire Bellichick because it was evident the knew what he was doing.

I have to agree with you.  How many coverups have happened over history?  This, however less destructive to American society, still shows that given the right motive (Super Bowl victory and being in the limelight for a while) that people will stop at nothing to win.

Sadly, the NFL will continue their disillusionment with the fans because as you stated, it would put the entire NFL as well as other major sports, into turmoil.

Belichick should be sent out for his knowingly allowing things to be happening on his watch to bring questionable tactics to his team and the entire league.

Here come the conspiracy theories.  I am sure that Roger Goodell would not risk his reputation and integrity of the league for a cover up on a story that has already been so scrutinized by investigative journalists for the past 3 months.  If there was something there, it would have been found by now.  As for Belichick , he was given the maximum fine back in September and had to part ways with a 1st rounder.  He admitted he knew what was going on back then.  Whether or not you believe he misinterpreted the rule or not is a different story.  Why would they fire him now with nothing new coming out.  And as a Chargers fan, I'm sure you are a Patriots hater.

HAHA, "Here's my theory".  You have got to be kidding me right?  You think Goodell would get away with or even risk doing something like that with morons like Spector up everyones butt.  As much as we love to hear your "theories", we've been hearing them since this all went done and so far none of them are true.  It's over guy.

I'm actually sure he WOULD risk it because if he didn't and the Rams get awarded the super bowl it would send this league into chaos and it would NOT be the number 1 sport in america.

They had to cover this up.

Maybe Goodell knows where Bin Laden is too!  He's probably covering it up though.

okay, bostonians are way too defensive about their sport teams, serious, its awesome u love ur sox, celtics, and pats but they are not the greatest in the world. OMG, we have kevin garnett and ray allen, lets just hand the trophy to the celtics even though a year ago, we were still living in the larry bird era

but bill belicheat pretended he misinterpreted the rules but now he acknowledges knowing them, tell me thats not big

They got a slap on there wrists which is wrong. I believe there is a cover up going on. Has been provin they cheated in the 2001 AFC championship game. So in my book they should lose that ring for 2001.
