If you want to give your opinion to Specter fill out the contact form on this link.  He says that he was voted by 12 million fans that he is representing but in my opinion he isn't listening to them.  The overwhelming majority of what I'm reading is in favor of this ending and Specter dropping the issue.  I know I am.

Hey Arlen,  I hate to interupt you while you are making a fool of your self trying to be the MVP of the Pats/Eagles Superbowl. Can you change your focus from this highly important issue to something less important, like maybe the cost of fuel. I like to be able to eat also. Time to retire with all you hard earned stolen benefits from the people you claim to represent.

You two are idiots.  That is Specters job as he a high ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Commitee, and member of 3 Subcommitee's, one of which is the Antitrust, Competitions, and Consumer Rights Subcomittee.

Fuel crisis is not part of his job, it's someone elses.  You guys need a refresher course in high school social studies and US Government, since obviously you don't know how it works.

OK,

One of Arlen Specter's MANY responsibilities includes the Antitrust issues.
In addition,
1.  He does belong to other committees such as appropriations which covers, agriculture, defense, homeland security, labor, health and human services, and on and on.
2.  He still has an independent role to look out for the best interest of his constituents

- If you are going to come out and call people idiots you better damn well have your facts straight,  and you don't.  You couldn't be more wrong that Specter is not involved with the fuel crisis.   Ever heard of biofuel? Maybe you need to "hit the books"
"One of my top energy priorities is reducing U.S. reliance on foreign oil, particularly from OPEC.  To rely on unstable regions, such as the Middle East, for our energy needs is to court disaster." - Arlen Specter 2008

NDAUB, I do have my facts straight.  I did not feel like posting all his commitee memberships, alrite?  Is that ok with you?  If it isn't, cry me a river because I don't care if it's not enough.

Secondly, just because you all see this from Arlen Specter, does not mean he is ignoring his other commitees.  He is working on other things, but this one speaks the loudest since so many are fans and since we're on a sports website, it's going ot be noted as such.  Do you think that CBS Sportsline, or any other sports site such as FOX, ESPN, or whoeve is going to post Arlen Specter's other projects in the commitee's that cover agriculture, defense, homeland security, labor, health and human services, and on and on.

Secondly, sorry I missed ONE thing about what Arlen Specter said.  But here's the real f***ing issue with this idiotic thread.  They claim, along with many stupid posters here, that Specter is not focusing on other problems in the US, when he is.  As I stated earlier, do you really think that this site is going to provide that info?  No, most people here just reply idioticly to what they see on hear and think that's all he does.  Obviously, you're not a moron and congratulations on finding a quote today that has to deal with something that Arlen does not involving football.  That is something I already knew, and you probably didn't.  Congrats on "hitting the books" and finding something I missed.  You're obviously a better man in one small fraction of life then myself.
