Motorcycle is a breach of contract, but Winslow wrecks one anyway.  The Browns could have gone after his bonuses, but instead restructure his contract.  He got paid for nothing in 04 and 05.  Had a good 07 and wants to skip camp?!  WTF.  Ingrate.

Are you surprised? its the way today's NFL works.  As soon as you have a good season you expect to get a pay raise, but if u have a bad one you dont expect to get a paycut.  It's weird.  The NFL has become more about love of money than love of the game.

KW really seemed like a TEAM player the last two seasons.   If this turns out to be true, he is going to totally distance himself from the fans that have warmed up to him following the year out from his motorcycle injury.  For his sake, I hope he wakes up.

Just another case of a prima-donna with an overinflated ego trying to get more money, when he never earned the money he was making originally.

i think he was key to them winning last year, but that was really his first year on the field. if this is about money that is crap, in the least he can play another season for them and prove he can stay healthy. the team went out and got a pretty decent reciever in stallworth to put on the otherside of the field opposite of Braylon Edwards. that should open up the middle of the field for KW so he can put up bigger numbers. so quit worrying about the money and go play.

Thou he has his dad's talent it seems like jr doesn't have the same heart  or demeanor , too bad i guess for the Browns org since they really seem to be getting it together nowadays.

as a lifelong Browns fan i will probably get blasted for this , i did not want him coming out of criminal u ,all i saw was an immature ,me first player . you are right about him being ungrateful .the browns could have easily gone after his bonus but did not .i have a felling that he will be a no show at training camp as well ,i think Phil sensed it as well with the drafting of rucker in this years draft .he has talent and plays with a lot of heart and passion .he is a mismatch in the passing game but still cant block .if this continues let the soldier play elsewhere .

I am so sick of people spouting this love of the game bs of course it's about the money who the hell wants to go and get pounded  because they love it so it works like anything else when you're hot you cash in cause the moment you're not that "team loyalty" isn't worth an extra value meal just ask Shaun Alexander

KW maybe his initials should be changed to KY...because he's trying to take the warming gel to the city that supported him when he wasn't even sure he could even play again. Where's the love KYJR.

What a loser.  They paid him even when he should'nt have been.  They've given him way more than he's deserved.  This means one thing to me.  That micro fractured knee is about to fall to pieces, and he's trying to cash in for everything he can before his "career" is over.  Hey Soldier, you've got 3 years left on your tour of duty...time to report for duty...

exactly!!!

i understand that the NFL doesnt have nearly as much guarunteed money and as soon as their spent the teams release them and so forth.  I dont have a problem with demanding money, in fact i think the players should be as greedy as possible.  That being said, there is a time to be greedy and a time to be grateful.  This is a situation of the latter.  KW should be grateful the Browns stuck with him.  Players need to realize if their a FA or close to, then fine go after the money, holdout, do what they got to do b/c their playing days are fragile.  They also need to realize if they sign a 5yr deal and after 2 yrs want a new deal that they're going to be labeled poorly.

Dont sign a 5yr deal if after 2 yrs you want to change it

the only time i can kind of seeing a player being in the right to re-negotiate is if they're entering their 3rd yr of their rookie contract and have far exceeded expectations

Be ready for a rough year Browns fans....The team has a good year and all of the sudden some players want more money, then the team starts to take sides and you will end up 4 and 12 instead of pushing for the playoffs, it happens every year in sports and I think it will happen this year in Cleveland.... Not to mention you have one hell of a schedule....I hope he takes his bike out for a ride and gets hurt again ,(just minor injuries), so you won't have to deal with his sorry ass again!!!

Typical of a player from "The U", they are all that way and then sit for injuries (Shockey comes to mind)
