Bottom line, It wouldn't suprise me if other teams were doing it. I'm sure they do. It's even stated pretty much by J.J and whatnot. They Patriots are a very good team, and I don't know why they taped, because I doubt they really needed it, but whatever. This whole spygate crap is just getting really old and tired now though. I'm just ready for a new season to come around.

Tweaker38,

I completly agree with you the tape they found i dont realy no why they did but they did and even if they didnt do it they still would of gone undeafeated. But i completly agree with what you said people need to stop talking about it and get over it they are a great team and you cant change that.

Well no, it's too my understanding that Matt Walsh synced it up, so you could visibly see on the tape what hand signal the coach of the opposing team was calling, and what formation the team would drop into in response to the signal. So, if you look at the coach making a hand signal across the way, you knew what formation he was calling. The film that you are I are talking about is the one where you don't see the coaches making signals, you just see the plays that the team runs from other games that they played.

According to J.J, other teams do it, so I'm not arguing that point with you, but it is definitley different than what we are talking about here.

Yes on that game they did cheat and did what they did but to take it farther then that was rediculas but w/e. since they are doing this to the Patriots they should do it to every other NFL team.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree with you on that, they are a great team and they did accomplish great things this decade. I don't take that away from them, because as you've stated before, you may know the information, but do you have the talent to execute the play?

It's like some of these people on the boards that take it real seriously, they know everything there is to know about the game with their stats and research... except how to play it, haha. Love that budweiser commerical.

I completely agree with that right there. If they are going to hit the Pat's with this, then every other team should be put under heavy scrutiny as far as this goes, because you probably will find some more "spygate" scandals.

Yes, even though we got cought cheating one time even so you still need the talent and the mental and physical part of the game to win and all the records we set we earned all them and blew out teams and there were no tapes so we won them all. But if people are going to say we cheated then ok we won 17 out of 18 but if that is the case we won them all but it is so stupid people need to let it go we got are punishment and it was over and they just brought it up again it is so stupid.

Exactly even though i have not proof other teams have i would just say your doing it to they Patriots so why not all the other teams and then i would have plenty of proof.

Issue on that list for me with item number 2 about Zach Thomas knowing Brady's audibles. That's a practice that goes all the way down to high school level. That's just called normal film study. You watch the quarterback make an audible, and the play that results because of that audible W/O watching the coaches. There is definitley nothing wrong with that. The issue is watching the coach on the other side make a hand signal for a specific play that the other team would know about. Especially on defense, because if a coach makes a hand signal to drop into cover 2 seam, then the other team knows about it already. That's not normal film study because the team (on offense on the field) isn't going to watch the coach make the hand signal, they are going to watch what defensive formation they go into. Because the hand signal is for a specific play, where as if you watch normal film study, the formation they drop into gives you an idea of what they wanna do, but you don't know what play EXACTLY they are going to do, because they can do a multitude of plays from any given formation.
