I went back to the beginning of this thread and could only find your list. Do me a favor, instead of spending all your time coming back at me with all this nonsense, why dont you spend some productive time and copy the posts that detail why you chose to say the teams were equal in the first place. All I saw were your lists. help me out here.

As it is there are plenty of polls that disagree with your premise. Is that not evidence of a contrary opinion? it is all opinion at this time. That is the point.

No worries here BD, just want to know what you think is the better system Pac or SEC? Not the better conference, just how a champion is determined.

The PAC 10 system works fine for a 10 team conference. The SEC system works fine for a 12 team system. The SEC system would work for the PAC 10 if the NCAA allowed it. The PAC system would NOT work with the SEC regardless of who allowed it.

That is the point Todd. You asked the question "what has VANDY done to earn respect." Of course the answer was filled with a bunch of woulda, coulda, shoulda's and almosts. VANDY came close to upsetting the BCS NC in 06, the #2 team this year, the SEC East team this year, among others. They have earned the respect of the SEC teams.

The question was about S. CAR and IND being equal. I showed you 3 or 4 preseason polls that had S. CAR ranked in the top 25, including the 1st ESPN ranking. I have yet to see IND on ANY top 25 ranking, including the 2 you reference. I also show the college football poll that had IND ranked #52.
Please explain to us how that makes S. CAR and IND equal this year.

Does your Vandy comments also extend to teams like Washington?
They lost to USC by 3 points. Beat Cal. Lost to Oregon State by 7 and Hawaii by 7 - should have beat them. In addition, Washington hung in there for a while with OSU.
Would you say Vandy is better than Washington?

rc, I'll let SEC FAN answer if he so desires. My answer would be simple....using your method.
UGA beats Vandy by 3
UGA beats Hawaii by 31
Hawaii beats UW by 7
Using your normal methodology, I would suggest Vandy is about 35 points better than the Huskies.

Not even close cooke. Todd went off on Vandy and asked what they had done to earn respect. All I did was show that over the past few years VANDY has upset ARK, UT, UGA and S. CAR this year, while coming very close to beating FLA, ALA, ARK when they were SEC West champs, and both the top 2 teams in the SEC East this year, UT an UGA.
They lost the games, but they have earned the respect of the SEC and are no longer an automatic W as they have been in the past. Far from it.
Not even going to speculate as to if they are better than WASH, but i would say "on any given SAT", who knows?
