Jordy Nelson is just tall. brohm was a waste cause they already picked rodgers to be the qb. we got a big hit saftey. a proven qb in booty, a proven center in John Sullivan. so i think that the Vikings will be sweeping the Packers,Lions, and Bears for many years to come.

Give me a break. How is Brohm a waste??? If he were a waste, so is John David Booty since Chilly was going to start T-Jack no matter what.

and in case you haven't noticed. We got a good press coverage CB in Patrick Lee, who fits our system perfecting. We also have a good TE in Jermichael Finley.

a proven qb in booty

How is Booty proven and not Brohm??? Dude come on.

and plus how they are 'proven' when they even haven't even started a game yet??? You say Rodgers isn't proven and he has played before and now you say Booty is proven without even playing??

You mean this Patrick Lee, the 8th CB taken in this years draft, sounds like he might be a wasted pick!

Compares to: David Barrett-New York Jets … Like Barrett, Lee is the type of player a team might put in the lineup, but only if it has few other options. He is certainly not a playmaker and don't be fooled by his four interceptions in 2007 (three came on throws right to him), as he lacks field awareness and is fooled more on the field than a child at his first magician's show. Lee just does not have the burst, range or fluid hips to mirror receivers on deep routes and gets fooled often by double moves and pump fakes. Outside of his duties as a gunner on special teams, he brings little value to the draft table.

You can't seriously think that Aaron Rogers will be even close to as good as Brett Farve was last year can you?  Farve threw for 4300 yards and 28 td's.  I hate to say it but Farve was/is a Hall of Fame quarterback and you're probablly not going to get the same production again this year.  Your new starter has played in 1 game for his whole career and many Packer fans are saying there will be no drop off at the qb position because Rogers has been sitting on the bench for three years.  If your Head Coach is so sure Rodgers is the answer to the starting qb question why did they draft 2 quarterbacks this year?

I never said that. We all now no one ever will be as good as Brett Favre. I say Rodgers has a Derek Anderson type of year

and oh BTW-Tony Romo sat on the bench for 3 years and now look!

BGHAWK,

So what if Patrick Lee was the 8th corner taken. Doesn't affect his ability to play.

Yeah Favre is gone but we've got Aaron Rodgers and he's been getting groomed for three years. Then why did they draft not one but TWO Qbs in the draft

So what if Patrick Lee was the 8th corner taken. Doesn't affect his ability to play.

He was passed over 58 times and 7 CB's were taken before him, that tells me a lot of people weren't as sure as YOU are that he will be a SOLID 3rd corner.

Ahhhh, probably because we didn't have anyother QB's on the roster? And you guys knock the Vikings coaching and management for being pro-active and aggressive.  The Packers have known for the last three years that Favre could or eventually would retire.  Now he does and you are going into the season with a QB who has thrown 59 passes in his career, and two rookies.  Aaron Rodgers could be fine, but if not?  You have a young offense which could be wasted trying to find the next QB.

They drafted Rodgers to replace Favre,  There wasn't much of a point trying to get a high priced third stringer last year to back up Rodgers.  This year there was garbage in FA for a backup.  If Rodgers goes down and Brohm gets thrown in there then so be it.

So....how did it feel after you swept the vikes only to lose in the play offs and get mooned by moss. One thing both teams didn't get the last 2 years is a superbowl.

I'm just wonering how it feels to know that the Pack had the first crack at signing Randy Moss 2 years ago and then this year and your management blew it. You could have had Moss and Favre still playing and more than likely won a superbowl last year and probabley this year. So how does it feel to go from an elite ranked #1 team if the trade for a 4th rounder had of happened to an average team with a QB starting his first official season.
