Where do ya come up with this stuff, Freeman?  Everyone at work thinks I'm warped now 'cause I keep making Sleestack noises and laughing to tears, and nobody is old enough or kroffty enough to get the joke, so now it's off to the land of the lost drug test.

I don't claim to be an arbiter of urban slang by any stretch of the imagination, but yours is the first usage I've ever seen of "bumping ugly" in anything other than a naughty context. A quick google reaffirms my initial impression. It would be edifying to see examples of uses having other connotations, if you can take a moment to link them

And in the spirit of your soap suggestion, since I'm typing this rather than speaking, wouldn't it make more sense for me to wash my hands?
