USC_KOOTS, you always fall back on us losing to Duke 4 years ago. What about the fact that you lost last year ,at home, to Vanderbilt(the Duke of the SEC). In fact, they thoroughly beat ya down. It isn't like we should let a fan of Team KFC spin things to look like the Crocks are in someway better than Clemson, because the rivalry record clearly shows that not to be the case.

Spurrier is floundering in Cola Town. That crumbling, stumbling 0-5 finish was classic , all tidied up with the defenseive meltdown against Clemson in your bowl game at home where Cullen carved up that putrid secondary to get it into FG range. 23-21 was it?  It was the same type of passing display that had unfolded a month or so before when some future DR. from Vanderwilt used your defense like an HMO order form and wrote whatever he wanted to on it. Carolina sucks, not just in the SEC, but everywhere. They are known nationwide as an easy win.

allorange, LSU-UF, and UGA are clearly better programs than us right at the moment. Being optimistic, we are much better than Tennessee, seeing as how the last time we played em they were ranked 6th and we spanked em'. That  Auburn is a liitle better i won't say because i am still wondering how we lost that game .

The typical SEC team is less talented than us, but run around wailing about SEC toughness and the truth is that take away the top 4 teams and they are no better than the ACC. It is all subjective anyway, and ima homer.

GO Tigers...

What, you can't take your own dumb logic against you?  Duke is just the funniest one, but you guys have at least one or two dumb losses a year.  I mention those all the time, too.

The typical SEC team is less talented than us,

Oh, so that's why you guys, on average, send about half as many guys to the NFL as the typical SEC team.  Duggy, you make it too easy sometimes.

TD,

im with you for the most part.  that tennessee game was about 5 years ago, so i dont really think that one holds much weight anymore.  as for uga, lsu, and uf being better than us, i agree 100%.  i think if we played auburn and tennesse ten times each, we would win half of those games.

The draft example does not work because if it did then that would mean that the ACC is better than the SEC (and I don't believe from top to bottom that the ACC is better than the SEC).  Arguments like these are pointless.  We do not know how Clemson would do in the SEC every year and we do not know how South Carolina would do in the ACC every year.

But we do know how Clemson does vs. South Carolina
