First we draft one of the 5 billion good point guards in this draft. (Rose in a perfect world)

With a Steve Nash type guy D'antoni coaches this team to run fast and with our marginal ralent win 40 or so games. Make the playoffs in the terrible east, with some stroke of luck we get into the second round showing the possibility that the Knicks could win.

We then splurge and pick up LeBron James for whatever insane amount of money we need to pay and then New York basketball finally becomes legit once again.

Cool! I'am feeling you. Except for the LeBron James thing. LeBron's chemistry would destroy whatever he's got left in this team. D'Antoni has inherited damaged goods. He 'knows.

But still, possible senarios. I can see the Knicks making the playoffs and some noise. Given a perfect world of course. Atlanta got in, so can New York.

Jury is really out on this one. Kindle like the time Thomas took over after Larry Brown. We looked good on paper,but smelled up the place on the court. I've wait to #2 to stake a claim. 2nd year the Charm. But Atlanta and the Magics are rising too. D'Antoni? OK!
