Ill go with Dustin McGowan. He has been struggling as of late, but over a full season I see him racking up the most K's for the Jays. He is a power pitcher with a blazing fastball that has a natural sinking action to it. Complemented by a dirty change, he can be simply lights out. Expect big things from him from here on out.
Shaun Marcum has been the most impressive in the K department thus far, but hes a finesse pitcher. He even said himself a couple days ago -->
"I'm not a strikeout pitcher, so I don't know what is going on with that," he said. "I don't know why I'm getting strikeouts, but I'll take them when I can get them." - Shaun Marcum
So i think that he will slow down a bit in that area. As for Burnett... yeah he has the potential to lead the category for sure but the fact that he just can't stay consistent or healthy takes him out of the running. Roy Halladay is a groundball pitcher, and is much more successfull when he is pitching for the groundball instead of the strikeout so I don't see him straying from that mold.
And as for Jesse Litsch, well... I dont even know if the Kid throws out of the zone! So no K's coming from him.
