Alabama managed to take 2 of 3 from Florida this weekend to jump the Gators for 4th in the SEC currently.  Alabama now has back to back series wins over Arkansas and Florida and did not lose an SEC series at home this season.

On Friday, Bama was up 5-4 headed into the 9th before giving up two runs to the Gators.  The Tide fought back in the bottom of the 9th and got a 2 out walk off double to win Friday nights game.

Today, the Tide scored 5 in the bottom of the 8th, all with 2 outs thanks to a 3-run HR and 2-run triple to tie the game at 7.  The game entered the bottom off the 9th after 4:15 CST, meaning the SEC travel rule was in effect and the game was in its final inning.  Bama gets 2 on before Matt Bentley of Bama hit one to the wall before he was robbed of a walk off HR.  The Gators threw it in and no one cut the ball off, allowing Bama's runner at second, Jeff Tejada, to score the winning run.

Right now Bama doesn't jump anyone for 4th.

They are in a 4 way tie for 4th with Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Florida.

Florida and Alabama both beat Ole Miss in series.

Kentucky beat both Florida and Alabama in series.

Right now, UK is in the driver's seat for the 4 seed with Ole Miss coming to town...If UK wins the series next weekend (and Florida and Alabama both win their series), UK gets the 4 seed.
