Let's have a poll who we think should go from the rotation when Willis returns from the disabled list. Give reasons for your choice.

I'll start and my choice is Bonderman. I question whether or not he is actually healthy. He has had a noticeable drop in velocity on his fastball and his slider is biting like it used to. I think the talk of him flying open in his mechanics is a bunch of bs. I think his forearm/elbow is still hurting from last season and he is too stubborn to admit it.

You want to bench the guy with the second lowest era of the 5?

Jeremy Bonderman.Too many walks. 29 BB and 30 K. Enough said. One of those 15 day DL deals and allow him a start or two in Toledo. Wouldn't mind seeing Eddie Bonine (7-0, 2.98 era, 29k, 6 bb and 1.06 whip ). I mean we bring up Armando Galarraga from Toledo where he had good numbers and he comes up and throws games of 2,0,1,2 and 5 runs with a 21 k to 9 bb ratio and 3 QS in 5 games ( Tigers are last in QS in the league with 9 ). Justin Verlander has 1, Nate Robertson 0, Jeremy Bonderman 1 and Kenny Rogers 4 . Tigers have also won 5 of the 6 games he has started. If the starters we have now can't get the job done than someone else has to be given the chance. Just throw some strikes.

I'd go withputting Jeremy Bonderman on DL - if he won't get bent out of shape about it.  However, I see Bonderman as prime trade bait, to be used by Dombrowski to add another bat.

IMO - Robertson to the pen and dump Dolsi or Bobby Seay.

It sounds like Willis will be back in about 10 days. If 2 rehab starts go without a hitch.

This is such a hard choice for the organization to make. So far the only one who has looked some what impressive is Galarraga. It would not suprise me to see some kind of trade go on. I would look for Robertson or Bonderman to go some place and maybe get a young pitching prospect in return. If that does not happen then I would look for one of those guys to move into the bullpen which is going to be highly unlikely. It would be sad to see Galarraga go back down. He has proven he belongs up here and although his last couple of starts have been a bit shakey it would be a bad desicion to take him out of the rotation.

IMO - Robertson to the pen and dump Dolsi or Bobby Seay.

You want to dump Seay and Dolsi?

LETS SEE...Seay has a 2.13 era... and Dolsi has 3.00 era ...1 run in just 3 innings. So you want to cut the guy with the 3rd best era on the team?

OK...get rid of Zach Miner then or Clay Rapada...... We're not talking about Hall of Famers here.

A. Dolsi has pitched in two (2) games.  .308 BA against

B. If Robertson goes to the pen, we'd have 3 lefties. Don't need more than 2, IMO

C. Does it really matter?

There is a good chance that Willis won't be around long anyhow.
