LAsportsfan,
This is about the Celtics, not the Lakers. If you can't read, I'm sorry. Maybe you should get "Hooked on Phonics" to help you comprehend what I'm saying.
Now, who did you say you were? Hurricane? Tosage?

I am an elephant on these matters, and, I can irritate wounds
I love that comment.
He will be fine by the ECFs,
I know Detroit is up 3-1 But after losing four straight last year I wouldn't get to cocky just yet.
Chauncey going down does hurt no matter how you spin it.What, when he comes back will he be 100%? I think not.
Them injuries tend to linger and one wrong 'tweak' and the man is done.
BTW- I do think Detroit get's past Orlando.

I guess you guys just want to make a huge deal out of Chauncey's injury. You're making it out to be a tear in ACL or something! It was just a mild hammy strain, and he could have came back last game but he wouldn't have been 100%.
By the time he is ready to come back, he will be 100%. He could get Game 5 off as well, and be able to rest up until the Celtics/Cavs series is over. They way that series is looking, it will go to 7 games. That means he will get lots of time to rest it, and will be perfectly fine by the time they have to play in the ECFs.

Dwight Howard is a beast, but he is no LeBron James.

I will agree if Billups gets hurt again we're screwed. We won't get past Boston or Cleveland without him, and even if we did we couldn't beat any of the teams in the West w/out him. His health is crucial, which is why I say we rest him for game 5.

BigB,
I feel that Detroit is the best all around team in the league. However, I feel that Cleveland is matched up pretty well against them. I think it would be a more intriguing match up for a rematch of last year. I'm not just saying that because im a Cavaliers fan, but because the rivalry has turned into something special over the past 2 years.

With how well Lindsey did in Game 4 and Stuckey did in Game 3, I don't think Flip will be rushing Billups back anytime soon. I think he will have no problem letting Chaucney rest until the ECFs.

I agree OSU, I would love to see a rematch of the Cavs and Pistons. I would love to prove everyone wrong about the Celtics, but I would rather watch a Cavs/Pistons series.

I agree and I don't start him in game 5.I maybe wait and see how the game plays out.If they don't need him at home you let that baby heal. If this happens and the Cavs/C's series goes 7 then he gets lots of time to rest.

It all depends on LB James.....If he shows up to play or watch the game. They have the tools to win but is LB a Lion or just a cub waiting in the backfield to come out and feed his hunger.....Humm we will see....

People don't realize that the Celtics are the toughest team in a seven game series. They were 25-5 against the West and were by far the most consistent team in the season. Road woes are something that will have to improve; with the exception of this last lost, they haven't lost huge yet. I think people are making much of nothing. It looks like the Celtics want to grind it out in a half-court game... I think they would be able to outrun and outplay the Cavs in an up/down tempo.
Rondo is faster than anyone on the court.
Ray is much quicker than Szczerbiak.
LeBron is really the only more athletic Cavs player.

DMan,
I don't care what a team does in the regular season. They could go 82-0, but it's how they play in the playoffs is what counts. The fact still remains that they can't win on the road yet. They have been the most consistent team with that.
I think people are making much of nothing
I can guarantee you they won't get to the Finals if they can't win on the road. The Pistons can beat Boston on the road at least once, but if the C's can't beat them on the road then they are done.

Guys, if this pattern of "win at home and lose on the road" continues to happens, then they'll win it all. They have home-court advantage throughout the play-offs. Since the better seed gets 4 out of the 7 games(if it the series does go to 7 games) then they will actually win the Finals.

Bingo! Thank you got pointing that one out there Mrclutch!
I do think that the Celtics certainly need to win on the road and not at the TDBanknorth Center, though they obviously need to win those games as well!
