The Pistons and The Spurs have been the two most successful teams in the league the last 5-6 years. The '05 Finals was the best in the last few years pitting SA against Detroit. That series went down to the final moments of game 7. It would be ideal to see the two best teams in the league which demonstrate team play and defense better than any team, go at it again.
One of the biggest screw-ups by Stern was changing rules to stop awesome defense so flashy undisciplined players without fundamentals can spin around 6 times, do a couple of flips and score a basket. Purist like seeing players earn their points against guys that are destines to stop them. The Spurs and Pistons still do all they can within the rules which were primarily changed because of them. I would much rather see a 65-63 game than 120-115 game.
