oh i'm so tired of these stupid posts i just don't have the energy to bash these morons anymore.  to have the audacity to attack urban meyer is pretty ridiculous.  i guess meyer did that at utah too didn't he?  "...turn a cheek for a player that can win games for you."  all those games THEY won.  truth is to get the best athletes you have to take some risks.  there's no doubt in my mind the florida coaching staff works double-time to keep their players disciplined.  unfortunately these players are 21 and very immature as most kids are when they're that age.  some of them are yes, dumb, and make terrible mistakes.  in this case the penalty was obvious.  however, to attack urban meyer as if you knew him personally and compare him with that shady, two-faced, red-neck-alabama scum-bag bobby bowden is a shame.  to do so is complete ignorance and makes me believe that if you had the opportunity (even though you're a racist pig with the likes of freeman, the man you hate yourself) you'd probably be right there stealing gas off a dead woman's credit card with hornsby.  you belong in the same boat as dumb football players.  also, keep using harvin getting hurt and tebow being a target.  you must not get too much gator news going your way.  don't blink next season- our team's going to be spectacular.  also, please tell me what kind of system you're using to claim that junior college transfers are "under educated"?  please go on to list your multiple phds and how you scored higher than all your classmates on the gre, and live in that glorious mansion.  since you're so smart.  bitch.

What we have here is failure to cahmoonicat.  Take Lukey out and put him in the cooler for a week.  Then he'll learn to mind his master.  Cool Hand Luke, Paul Newman, George Kennedy, etal for all you morons.

just like another post where a "student athlete" killed someone.  Reminds me of the line from "The Program" another gang banger that can run.

Just another waste of fing talent being a stupid ass.

When does it stop, almost re fing diculos. Go to school and play ball and maybe you will be better off than 80% of the world. All for what......$3000. What a WASTE of the schools money.

So what will be done to prevenet this from happening in the future? Absolutely nothing.
He will be kicked off the team, but the recruiting pratices won't change. In a few months, someone else will be arrested for doing something even more stupid and inexcusable.

I know that every program has issues, but I think this is an all-time low.

Actually.. It is the proper way for Casual writing. Yours, however, was not even close to what I would call  "educated".  I was more angry about you generalizing about citizens down here. I was born and raised in the south, and, I'm far from "under-educated". There was no reason, at all, to insult the entire south by suggesting we are under-educated with southern drawls. You must be very myopic (or naive) if you actually believe that about Florida. That really shows much about your character, and how you were raised.

WOW- Come on Freeman Hater! Are you serious?! You can not be using Mike Freeman's writing (The man you despise) to prove a point. How Hypocritical is that?! Wow? I believe FSU Noles 04 stated the most complete truth (If there is one) about your post... It's that it's illogical, ignorant, "under educated", attention-seeking, and largely unimpressive in any way, shape, or form. Honestly, though, How much more hypocritical can you get than using the writings of the man you so obviously despise to prove a point for yourself.. I shouldn't even say that.. to attempt to prove a point, because it proves nothing as those did not pertain to this situation and past situations where players did such despicable things as using a dead woman's credit card to get free (for him) gas. I'm done responding to your desperate-for-attention posts, regardless of how you respond to this.

Hater,

This is just in response to the first post everyone. I hate UF as much as any SEC fan, but I am not sure of your point on this one. Urban kicked him off the team, end of story. Do you believe in second chances? Well when it is for selling tickets, yes. This is something that anyone shold know better than to do, so he is off the team. I think Urban sent a clear message to his team.

Actually, after further review, it has been discovered that Rev. Wright has now publicly stated that the American Government instigated the UF scandal.

I'm glad to see that not many UF fans have dignified this nonsense with a response and I hope it stays that why. I'm from chapel hill, and am a tar heel fan first and foremost, but i currently live in gainesville, so i can't help but jump on the bandwagon to a certain extent. anyone who follows gator sports knows that Meyer is a stand up guy, and doesn't turn a blind eye (or a cheek if you think that makes sense) to anything. He suspended joiner last year for "stealing" his own car.

Also that post by the noles guy was really funny
Could not agree more.
people on this site need to start ignoring these trolls - they are energy vampires who thrive on your angry responses and add nothing to any honest and intelligent debate.

On the actual topic of the article -

a) if it is true as stated in the article (and one can not assume that in this blog-driven idiocracy - aka "the Internets"  '-) that is despicable and I am happy, and not at all surprised, to see that Meyer kicked him off the team immediately
b) UF, one of the TOP 50 rated universities in the US, also runs an excellent athletic program that most other schools would do well to emulate. As others pointed out above UF has one of the highest GSR's and highest avg GPA ranks while fielding one of the SEC's and the country's most successful NCAA programs.
