Okay these numbers should all tie out.  I forgot to include the fine folks from Arkansas and the web site had some errors concerning Tennessee and Alabama losses being one short.

Big Ten VS SEC (1990 - 2007).

Mich 7-2, PSU 6-2, Minn 2-0, Iowa 2-1, MSU 1-1, Wisc 2-4, Ind 6-11, NW 0-1, ILL 0-1, Pur 0-2, OSU 0-7    Big Ten 26-32

Ala 2-3, Aub 3-3, Ark 0-3, Fla 3-4, Geo 5-0, Ken 10-7, LSU 3-1, Ole Miss 0-1, Mis St 0-0, Van 0-1, Ten 4-3, SC 2-0  SEC 32-26

Thanks again to patrickw for pointing out an error in my previous post.

Funny, Dodd indicates that the Big Ten is so soft and that the SEC is so difficult and deep. Is that why the Big Ten and SEC are 9-9 against each other in bowl games over the last 5 years (and the Big Ten is actually 14-13 in head to head in the BCS era)? I'll give the SEC their due on beating OSU the last 2 years for the title, but not on overall depth being that superior. If the SEC is so deep, why did Michigan beat Florida despite turning the ball over 4 times? And why has a "second-rate" Big Ten team like Wisconsin gone 2-1 the last 3 years against SEC in their bowl games?

Care to explain this one, Gadawgs? Or is it Jethro?

Nice stats, but why don't you try on the BCS era, when the Big Ten is 14-13 I believe against the SEC in bowl games? And 9-9 in the last 5 years?

Those speak better to current day non-domination by the SEC, despite what all the hillbillies keep screaming.

Another Southern hick spouting off with opinion, not facts. Try this on for size, Zeke...

Wiscgc - you've got to give your team more love than this even when being sarcastic...

"And why has a "second-rate" Big Ten team like Wisconsin gone 2-1 the last 3 years against SEC in their bowl games?"

Wisconsin is not second rate, as you already know.  Barry built a great program and their new coach has kept it going.  Since 1998 the Badgers have gone 80-37, with sevarl bowl victories mixed in.  So give your guys some love......

PS - I always hate when my Spartys have to play the Badgers you guys have had such great success against them in football and basketball.  Save some of that for the SEC...

Its not that I can't think for myself, it is that I am using his facts to show he is an idiot.

All the SEC fans whose teams don't win the title find solace in the fact that they play in the "toughest conference".   Its so hard!!WAAAAAAHHHH!     They have to live vicariously through florida and lsu

Who did you lose to at home last year? Big upset by a small undersized school. No conference championship to play and you played who in your conference. Ohio State did what to you? What did LSU do to Ohio State? Florida was a weak team that finished in the middle of the pack and your coach needed a win to save face. How many times did he beat Ohio State or win a bowl game. Please get a grip. Michigan I love I was just there and the car keys and the traditions are nice the people and their fans are great. You play no one all year and still cannot win the big game. I route for you all the time but play a top SEC team that is as rested as you are at the end of the year.  You have one or two games a year and don't have anyone to beat you up every weak. Pray you find QB. All that talent and when was your last important game you won. Sorry but the old Michigan had the smash mouth football. Nothing lately!

Georgia owns Wisconsin. Have you forgot the Outback bowls. When have you played in a conference championship game or a conference. Compare apples to apples please. Rested teams with time to heal in a weak conference who have two games all year have a great chance to beat lower beat up SEC teams. Ohio State who creams you every year is 0-9 against the SEC. Come play with the big boys and see how many rested players who stay healthy. Please!!!
