Worst team still in the playoffs...What a difference watching the Hornets/Spurs, and the Cavs/Celts. I would rather watch paint dry than watch the Cavs.
Where is Lebron? Some people say he's the best in the game...BS, Kobe doesn't have back to back games like this.
great point kac!! BON BOB needs to do a little more growing up per say. I was curious as to what the other all-pro players think about this guy? I've seen him get into it with alot of players (not DeShawn Stevenson) KG was the latest.
He's kinda starting to look like a crybaby. Buck it up boy and bring it.... quit freaking crying all the time..
"It's hard g** D*** work maken something so pretty look like a chump"
The Lakers are amazing this year, and will probably go to the finals, while the Cavs will probably lose this series with the Celtics in 6. Whether that's a direct comparison between Kobe and Lebron is up to you.
Good points Favreism...Kobe definitely has a better supporting cast, but I still think he's a better player.
I think you'll see the Celts playing either the Lakers or Hornets. And I think it will be a great finals. I hope the Celts finish off the Cavs quickly. I see Celts in 5 or 6.
I don't think the opinion of Lebron is that he's the best...he's definitely on that level and as far as potential I think he'll be better then Kobe.
With that said, he'll never be better till they get more talent around him and MORE importantly get a coach that knows what he's doing. The Cavs have no offense, it's quite pathetic that the coaching staff cannot even get them organized enough to run a simple offensive set that's effective.
Mike Brown didn't get them to finals last year, Lebron did. What he's done so far with this team is amazing.
The cream always rises to the top I see the Cleveland Cavaliers getting swept. It's not so much that they are playing horrible. It's just the Boston Celtics are that much better. It's going to be a great series ( the eastern conference finals ) Boston Celtics and Detriot Pistons.
Im not sure what your watching, but to suggest the cavs get swept is quite an uneducated statement. I mean, i guess i could see the mighty Celtics not having to play a game 7 in this series, but unless Lebron quits, like Carmello and his Nuggets did, they arent going to get bounced in 4. How about some examples of the Kings Comebacks?
Yeah, I agree, the Cavaliers have really stunk up the joint the first two games of the series. I would also agree that they are the worst team left in the playoffs. Unless something really changes, i.e., Kevin Garnett gets hurt, or Ray Allen and Paul Pierce disapear again, I don't see the Cavs comming close to winning the series against the Celtics. I expect the Cavs, and LeBron James, and Big Zydrunas Ilgauskas and the rest of the crew to play the hardest they have played ALL YEAR ! They have to, or the series will be done in four games. I think the Celtics will steal one game in Cleveland, and win in game 5 at home.
All I saw when I read the first thread was "Where is Lebron? Some people say he's the best in the game...BS, Kobe doesn't have back to back games like this."
I was going to answer but I guess everyone else answered for me.
Let us take out Lebron and Kobe from both teams and look at the rest of the line-ups:
Pau Gasol/Andrew Bynum > >> >> >> >> >> >> > Big Z (though he is giving a killer effort)/ Anderson Varejao
Luke Walton and Boobie Gibson are on par, each with his own strenghts and weakness
The rest are just filler players, with the exception of Wally and Fisher.
Give Lebron a little help. When he is the only good player on a squad, who else do you have to guard? He asked for help and Ferry gave him Wallace and Wally. Kobe got Gasol. No contest.
Still, I strongly disagree with anyone who thinks the Cavs will get swept. Go Cavs =]
