Great round for the Serg today and he got the putter working today.  He hit shots close and thats what u have to do at Sawgrass to put out a low score.  He played in the morning so it was relatively easier than in the afternoon and the putter was hot.  I don't think Sergio has it in him to win this tournament unless the putter is blazin hot or he just creates a huge lead.  I think he will shoot 72+ tomorrow and he will not really post a great score the rest of the week.  I hope he proves me wrong but I think the winner will be someone who shot 2 under today like Anthony Kim or Phil Mickelson.  Another person who could win this is Boo Weekley if his putter doesnt fail him. It should be exciting the next three days to see who will emerge.

Sergio needs a win to put the British Open loss behind him.  Although, I have to agree with you that he will come in with a 72+ tomorrow.
I am betting on Harrington and Baddeley to go low tomorrow.
Whoever, it is a fun course to watch.  17 is a bear.

The British Open loss behind him.... which one?  The last 2 have been tough.

I agree with Thad, I'm a member at Sawgrass I've seen Sergio play this event many times over despite his hot start I don't think it will last. I really think that Boo Weekley has a excellent chance to pull it off.

I agree, Sergio's history in tournaments is really working against him in this one. Although it would be nice to see him pull it out for the sake of his mental state lol, I am also hoping to see Boo Weekley, I mean you can't go against someone that wears realtree camo on the golf course lol
