Well, obviously, you aren't, but I'll take a stab.
All kidding aside, I see AP getting about 80 yards and a TD against the Packers on opening day.
I'm basing the rest of my prediction on the fact that he's missed games every single season since his freshman year at Oklahoma. I see Peterson reinjuring his collarbone October 19 against the Bears, and he will be done for the season. Therefore, he will not be in the game against the Packers on November 9.
This isn't a wish. I don't wish injury on any player. It's just a gut feeling I have.

not to be a smarta$$ ( ok thats actually what im trying to be) but Vikings fans better hope he can stay healthy because his last half of last season was nothing to write home about...he missed 2 games...was held under 50 yards in 4 games and averaged over 4.1 in just one....in the last 4 games he had 144 yards against the rushing defenses that finished...4th, 22nd, 24th, and 30th in yard per game....our back up "bust of a running back" Brandon Jackson had 151 yards in the last 4 games and doubled AD's ypc

When people post dumb things like this you no there team sucks. For AD he is a great young player but he needs to stay healthy until then don't talk to much because he might not get one yard against any one. Then you would look even dumber I no hard to do.

ok that dominate defense finished 20th in the leauge in total yards against ...sure they finished "first" in rushing defense(second if you go by the more meaningful stat of yards per carry but ill give you first) but they finished dead last against the pass...teams passed against them at a more then two to one ratio....yes they have a very good rush defense but the fact that all you have to do is throw against them.all game long contributes to the "rush greatness"...(ok im gonna spell this out for Vikings fans...from here on out is SARCASM)...but you did get a safety from the Bengals who are known for their strong secondary so thats a good sign and sharper got a year older so your safeties should be sound....and your cbs are top notch so you should match up well with the other contenders who like to spread the field (dallas and greenbay and indy and new england for example)....with your top notch qb, ironman runningback, and solid recieving corp i certainly understand all the hype and superbowl expectations
