What a difference to put a guy out there every fifth day that can get outs.  He was very impressive tonight ( I know he faced the worst line up in baseball but still)

Hopefully Malholm, who pitches better at home can finish the Giants off tomorrow.  .500 ball the rest of the homestand gives us a 5-2 mark, not bad.  I'd like to see 6-1 though.

Lets Go Bucs!!

Dumatrait looks very good.  His fastball is a good velocity to go well with his curveball which has a nice sharp bite.  It's not a hooking curve like a lot of lefty's have.  I'd like to see him work a change in there with a fastball that moves too but he has looked good and has the keys to be successful.  Gotta love that young rotation.  Now if they can get a consistent/fundamental hitting infield and catcher they'd be at LEAST in the running for .500.

I'd like to see the new management draft this year. Maybe they'll address some actual needs.

roar:  In his first start he was solid for 3 or 4 against Washington, and then it seemed as if he tired and gave up 4 runs.  Over the year he has had some very good performances in relief, and only a few implosions.  Last night he pushed it into the 6th.  I do not consider him the "answer", but he is giving us a helluva lot more than Morris did as the 5th starter.  I still think we have to give JVB the opportunity to get some innings and possibly overcome what must be tremendous stress and nervousness out on the mound - he's overcome it at AAA, and if he gets it done in the majors, that will turn out to be a very good draft pick.

Credit for this guy has to go to NH for grabbing him off of waivers from Cincy who gave up on him and his 0 - 4, 15.00 ERA in the majors last year.  But he was 10 - 6, 3.53 in 22 starts for Cincy's AAA Team.  Then you have to give credit to Russell and Jeff Andrews for keeping him out of ST because Burnett was the better pitcher with much better stats coming out of ST.  So, they must have seen something, and let's hope he keeps it up.

Nady was awesome and made the Sportscenter highlights twice - once for his 2 run HR and once for the catch in RF.

the reason because he was tired was because of the light outage in Washington. Still pitched solid after for awhile being his first game out of the bullpen but he was very good last night and he's giving us a chance to win
