The first thing I would like to say to you is this: Ever hear of being the bigger person?
The last thing I want to do is antagonize people on these boards (unless they truly deserve it) -- especially a Cards fan. So if it makes you feel better, I apologize.
Now I've got some other things to say:
JohnClay responded to a post in which you declared Izturis to be the best Cardinal SS since Ozzie. (That is absolutely not true, by the way -- just look to last year and your argument is already done.) JohnClay did that rationally -- in other words, he didn't call you a momma's boy, or "ignorantly delusional," or anything of that sort. The most irrational thing he said was "Ank will tank!" Here was your response to him:

THAT is what I am talking about. Yes, I private-messaged you April 29 and said chitownnow is a clown. And I stand by that -- the guy seems, for the most part, to be a clown. But he has said some stuff that is rational and sensible, and he has not said near as offense-intensive as things you have said. He has bashed the Cardinals a little bit, and we have a right to jump on him for that. But he has not bashed any of us. You, on the other hand, constantly bash the poster, rather than the post. You also called Fukudome a fudgepacker a number of times, and I don't get that at all...
As for JohnClay and WrigleyRyan...they have done NOTHING irrational on these boards. All they have done is make arguments. JohnClay actually said it best a few days ago: "Unlike you, I don't resort to name calling". That's all I'm asking from you -- resort a little less to the name-calling and personal attacks, and talk a little bit more baseball.
And the worst thing WrigleyRyan has said: "So far, I'm ranking the new guy, "thetodd" as the greenest cat on the block. Did you say that Cards_68 has a solid knowledge of the game? Really? Go check out the Cubs message board- even if you're biased you'll learn otherwise." Yes, he called you out, but as violently as you have done to all three of the Cubs fans on here? No.
ALL I AM ASKING FOR is respect, FROM BOTH SIDES. And I happen to think you get a lot more than you give.
As an aside, I don't give a flying F about my thread being "destroyed." Honestly.
If you still don't get where I'm coming from, we're just going to have to agree to disagree, and move on. I am not going to get into a war with a fellow Cardinal fan.
Zizzle- for the record, I never said the two of you were the same person. I think you have me confused with someone else. The only thing I said was that I would prefer not to sit by you at a ball game. In my opinion, you're not one of the decent Cardinal fans I have met that can sit next to a Cub fan and share a respect for the game and the rivalry. If I'm wrong, so be it, but I'm pretty sure I hit the nail on the head. Even some of your own have noted that they are tired of listening to your posts.
And finally, I don't have a small head. I wear a 7 1/2 lid. I type at odd hours because I'm a pilot, and I'm on the road consistently due to my job. My life, haha, is very busy, but my laptop is never far away. I hope your life is turns out as well as mine. It might make you a more pleasant individual.
Cards_68- what can I say bud? You simply insist on calling people names like a young child, and you consistently distort what others have said in an attempt to make discussions into arguments. To each his own I guess, but you consistently demonstrate your lack of class with almost every post you make. I hope you learn to clean up your mouth, or develop a sense of humor in your posts.
I'm done with this thread, as the bad energy troll is definitely present here. To all of the rational fans on the thread, take it easy, and enjoy the season.
I happen to live in the heart of the city of St. louis unlike Cards_68 who lives in the Southwest of the state. Which would make me a different person. Can't you get that across your small head.
Now, do you still wish to say that I lack class??? And no, I don't have a small head. Dude, I used to reside in the St. Louis area. I am originally from northern Jefferson County. I moved down here in 1993 and I'm glad I did move down here. Bud, there isn't enough money on the face of this Earth that could get me to ever reside up there again. There is nothing good about living in or close a big city like St. Louis . At least down here I can listen to the peace and quiet at night and breathe fresher air anytime. Can you say the same? No. And down here where I reside, we don't have drive-by shootings. In the queen city of Springfield, yes. But not in my community. Can you say the same thing? Again, no. Up there, you have to constantly look over your shoulder, right? Down here we don't have to do that.
Now, with all that said, does that necessarily mean that I can't/don't follow the Cardinals? No. I just so happen to have DirecTV and get to watch the weekly games on FSN Midwest. And it doesn't stop there. The Sunday games that are televised on KSDK Channel 5 are also shown on my local NBC affiliate station KY3 or Ozarks CW channel 15. Plus, I always read stltoday.com and the Cardinals official website for anything on a daily basis. I have been following the Cards since the very early 1980's when the Cards brought in Whitey Herzog as manager/gerneral manager.
Now, I know what you and Teets are saying, okay? Guys, I honestly don't like all the name calling either. But there are a select few that seem to me that they only care about acting like bigshots on here and at that at me. I'm not the bigshot here fellas. I keep getting caught with the short end of the stick. Ryan, I distort nothing on here dude and I don't instigate arguements either. Sorry to burst your bubble dude. Guess what budro? You need to look around and you will see that you are the one and only Cards fan that is gripping at me. Appearantely I am not doing anything seriously wrong but instead seriously right. I say this to hopefully get you to realize that you need to stop and back off. I say this in the name of friendship.
