Anyway, I think that the Flyers are awesome. They've pulled off a remarkable turnaround...too bad that Gagne's been injured (one of my favorite players). I don't expect Philadelphia to win this series, but I bet that every game will be tight.

Don't sell your team short, Rubbish. I think the Flyers are playing with a lot of passion now, and I think they can win this series. They've been getting offense from a number of players, and Biron is playing really well. And they have nothing to lose, because nobody expected them to get this far. The Penguins have all the expectaions and pressure. I really think the Flyers will take this one. They seem like a team of destiny this year.

As much as I am looking foward to this series, (and a little worried) I see the Pens winning in 6. I saw a post that the Flyers have a lot of passion right now? Who doesn't have passion right now? I mean the Pens have played 9 games winning 8 of them, I think only 2 people from the team don't have a point so far, and are just playing extremely good hockey all around. And the nothing to lose statement? Really how can you say that one round before the Cup? Yes they have something to lose, if they don't win, then they don't make it to the championship. The pressure is on everyone. The whole "the pens were expected so they have pressure"...Is that argument legit in pro sports? NO! If anything, there is more pressure on the Flyers because they are playing against the favorite, and everyone is talking about this cinderalla like team thats beaten the #3 and #1 seeds.
That's just my spill about don't use cliches to say why the Flyers will win without any factual statements. All that said, we're getting a very exciting series right now.

pens in 6, i don't know about that yet.... the Flyers have beating the pens every time they have faced them in the stanley cup playoff series.. so this will be interesting if the pens can get over the hump, play their style of game and beat the flyers for once. the best thing is this is a in-state series that can't get any better. i really don't care who wins. i just wanna see it go 7 games and let the hitting begin....

So maybe Washington and Montreal were not as good as advertised and the Pittsburgh is much better than either of these teams, the real deal. The Flyers are still playing extremely solid hockey and if the Penguins so much as breathe they will lose the series. The Flyers have a different mindset and there is nothing to lose and have talented, capable players in their system to chop up whatever adversity that presents itself. These Penguins are not Mario's Penguins and Sidney's Penguins just might not be enough to stop the rolling train of Philadelphia.

The Pens are playing extremely solid hockey too. You know I was trying to be nice to Philly fans on here, but you guys are arrogant. So let me say this, the Flyers are a cheap dirty team, that are going to be down 2-0 in this series, and then you will see the Flyers of old taking cheap shots on Crosby, getting penalites, and then all of a sudden the Pens have 4 power play goals. Now I say this game will be won in 4 games. A SWEEP BY THE PITTSBURGH Penguins, because the Flyers are overrated, arrogant, cheap, and frankly, they don't have what it takes to play like they have for 3 series. They will run out of gas, especially when they go down to the Pens.
