Cleveland1, how could you say you don't want USC or SEC fans coming in here? Ohio State fans go to other boards and trash talk about how great their team is or how bad other teams are, what is the difference? OSU has just as many trash talking fans.
Second, even if Ohio State wins, no one will want to see them. No one believes in them anymore and they are blowing it for the Big Ten. The soft conference schedules by most teams and then losing to major programs in the bowls doesn't help the cause. I grew up with USC season tickets and still have them even though I went to school at CSU, and I remember how good the conference used to be, but unfortunately they are down. I think it will be a good game as USC still has to answer QB questions although I believe Sanchez will do well. USC also shows up for these big games and in the Coliseum I see USC winning by 10, 27-17. OSU is a good program, but they need to prove something and starting the season with directional schools doesn't help.

I enjoy some of the clever little nicknames you guys have for Ohio State. The luckeyes is a rather worn out one, but an Ohio State University? Wow, you are a funny guy, carolina. Can you come up with nicknames for all of Cleveland's pro teams as well. I can't wait to read them.
Yeah, "an" ohio state university makes more sense than "the" ohio state university. As for the mistake by the lake teams:
the Cleveland Pumpkins Heads
the Cleveland "snatch the jaws of defeat from the thrill of victory" Browns
the Super Bowl champion Cle.....errrrrrr Baltimore Ravens.
the Cleveland "heart break" Indians
the Cleveland blow it the 9th against a team that'd been around for 15 minutes
the Cleveland "it's just never going to happen, people!"
the Cleveland "will lose LeBron" Cavs
the Cleveland "will never win with LeBron because they can't afford a good supporting cast" Cavs
the Cleveland "why God, why!!!!" fan base
the Cleveland "just win one.....please!!!!!!!!!" fan base.
the Cleveland "we love Byner, Michael Jordan, John Elway, and Jose Mesa" fan base.
the Cleveland "the drive" fan base.
the Cleveland "red right 88" fan base
How were those?

To everyone who blames tOSU for there weak conference schedule..WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT...Blame Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin and others for not being very competitive over the last 5 years or so..The OOC games are not much different than other top programs out there..Play one tough game(now remember these games are scheduled in advance so we can help that Washington sucked this year), then play a couple of in state games to help revenue for the other schools in state..
I think this game will be very good..Two great coaches, each will have there team ready to go..This years team is a lot better along with more experience..Also OSU had a lot of the leaders return from last year which is the difference from the last year to this year..OSU had to replace a lot of leaders last year and all but one return this year..
Good Luck to USC..
Carolina..go back to basketball..you have no business talking college football..

troysympson..... does using words like "douche" and "dumb m'fers" make you feel cool? Do you say them in anonymous boards because your mom doesn't let you say them at home? Does it help prove your "point"?
When you claim that "In 2006, they choked. Last year, they were overmatched.", it says that it was OSU's fault for losing in 06, and they lost to a better team in 07. If you really believe that, I stand by what I said. Choking didn't lose the game for them. USC "choked" when they lost to Stanford last year. OSU was way overmatched in 06. Don't forget, they came out and ran back the opening kickoff. Florida methodically worked down the field each time they scored. Choking happens when you give up big play after big play or fail in a big moment. Being completely out played except for the first 7 seconds of a game shows a lack of competition. If they had "choked", the game would have been much closer, or even a competition.

as much as i hate to agree with gator(and i mean realllllly hate to agree)..OSU was overmatched in 2006..OSU was overconfident and did not come prepared which made the loss look that much worse..this past year against LSU, i really believe that OSU was in this game if it was not for a few really dumb penalties..not saying that LSU was not the better team, but i think we choked more this year than against Florida..
Another point that i would like to make is that i really believe that the reason the big ten does not have a conference championship game is b/c of the tradition of OSU vs Michigan..It has always been the last regular season game..A lot of the other great rivalaries are played before the end of the season or are not in the same conference..I think the Big Ten needs to have a championship game
