Are there any Redskins fans out there who like Alanis Morisette.  If so you may find this interesting.  I found this on yahoo from nissan live sets.  It has some videos of alanis singing some of her newer songs.  It is a little break from talking about football, the redskins, Fred Davis, Devin Thomas, Malcolm Kelly, and chad rinhart.  Well that is of course if you don't do  like me and open a second ie window to listen this while posting .

Well some may not like her type of music.....I like some of her stuff but my taste for music has a wide range.  As I get older I find I like alot of different styles of music.  I have recently started listening to norah jones,  timbaland, fergie, and various R&B artist.

Yes I am not up on all the artist either.  I remember alot from my days in college but it is really my 13 year old daughter that keeps me up on all the new artist that are coming out.  I ask her who she is listening too and she will say names like All american rejects, paramore, red jumpsuit apparatus, nickelback, colby calait, sarah bareilles and leona lewis.  I will then have to go look up all of these artist to see what they sing and before I know it I am loading lots of new people on my ipod.

honestly I can't wait to see what the Redskins veterans are planning on doing to Fred Davis.  I know they will do their typical rookie hazing on all the new prospects but I am sure Fred will get his own special treatment.  Jim Zorn actually made comments towards this in the post.  He said fred has alrready been dealt two punishments one by the redskins and the other by his mother who found out.  Jim then said fred will still have to face his teammates punishment so the story is still left to be told.   This isn't like a normal training camp incident it happened in mini camp which means the veterans will now have a month to plan something out before all the rookies come back for the ota's in june.  Fred Smoot, Marcus Washington, Phillip Daniels, Andre Carter, London Fletcher, Jon Jansen, Chris Cooley  and Chris Samuels won't miss their opportunity to give this rookie heck with the coaches blessing.

It started with a simple screen pass. Clinton Portis drifted left and pulled in the short pass, but the defense read the play right and quickly converged on him.

Portis reversed course, though, and across field he picked up Jason Campbell as a blocker.

LaRon Landry stayed with Portis, though, and eventually pushed him out of bounds for no gain.

After the play, Portis and Landry exchanged some verbal jabs with each other. It continued after practice and into the locker room.

It escalated to the point where Portis and Landry challenged each other to a 40-yard dash on the practice field.

They headed back outside and set up the impromptu foot race while Jim Zorn was still holding court with media.

A group of Redskins players watched from a hill overlooking the field. Fred Smoot was cheering on Landry.

It was a photo finish--too close to call a winner.

By now I am sure most of the redskins fans have seen this video so who do you think won?  I think they need to race again but it appears Laron may have snuck it out in the last few inches.

I like the camaraderie this shows between the redskins.  Fred smoot chimed in to support laron landry that he won while Rock Cartwright said it was too close to call. This type of behaviour is what we need to see with our redskins showing they are having a good time competing and jawing with one another in a fun way instead of fighting.

on one video, they slow it down near the end, and Laron's ahead by an inch, that was crazy

Jim Zorn today reported that Antwaan Randle El had to have surgery on his knee to remove some loose impedements.  Randle El is suppose to be ready for the next wave of OTA's in june.  They noticed some swelling and had the knee looked at.  I hope this isn't something that is going to drag on and it really is going to be fine come june ota's.

Here is another link to the Redskins site that talks about the Knee scope that Antwaan Randle El had done.  It is expected that Antwaan will only miss 3-4 weeks.  I know the are all claiming it is a minor injury however didn't the Cowboys receiver go in for the same kind of surgery last year that was suppose to only be 3-4 weeks but it lasted almost the entire season.  Terry Glenn had the samething so hopefully this isn't going to drag on for Antwaan.  They say it is just normal wear and tear not anything that happened on one particular play.  Terry's issue was actually due to a prior knee injury but still its still a little bothersome when one of the top wr's is already experiencing injuries.

Skinz, i'm sure Fred Davis will get his!

I think the Randle El thing will be minor. Terry Glenn is much older and may have had more pieces floating around. I'm still concerned about Rocky McIntosh having a degenerative knee problem.

Apparently Fred Smoot was taped to the goal post his first year then the following year he taped Patrick Ramsey to the goal post.  I am guessing we will get to see
