Kobe winning Mvp this year was a no-brainer. It should've been Kobe's 4th mvp, not first. He's pretty much been the best player in the league for what the last 6 years? Best player on offense and defense. The best clutch player in the game, the best competitor. A winner. A champion. Plus he led L.A to the best record in the West playing with a torn ligament in his hand, and with a front line out for the majority of the season. CASE CLOSED. There's no competion, no argument for another player. That's a FACT!!!

Lebronze, (as I was saying before it posted erronously) led Cleveland to a mediocre record in the pathetic east. Plays no defense, shoots poorly at the ft line and 3 pt line, and gets nervous under pressure. Why do you think he never wins, on any level: (2 bronze medals and Swept in the finals). He's a great dunker, but needs to improve his game on many levels before he becomes in Kobe's class.
Paul, will never be in Kobe's class. He's too short. He's like Isiah, Kobe's like Mj. Kobe at 6 "7" is always going to be a much better player. Better defender, rebounder, scorer, etc. Just like Isiah was great, he wasn't in MJ's class, because of the height difference. Same thing with Paul. He's a great little guard. Get it, "little". You could only be so good at 5 foot 11. He's just not in Kobe's class. That's why Kobe's a 3-time champion. So let's not pretend little guys like Paul could actually be better than Kobe. It was a HORRENDOUS mistake by the NBA to give Nash 2 mvp's let alone 1. He didn't deserve any, and the writers ruined the award by giving it to Nash. At least now, for 1 year they put their bias aside and gave the BEST PLAYER in the game the MVP award, that he should've won 4 times by now.

Thanks for the good laugh sman. Yes LeBron gets nervous under pressure... take last years ECF I mean he was so nervous he could barely score... His free throw shooting needs improvement. He plays no defense? Everytime the Cavs have played the Lakers this year LeBron and Kobe guard each other, LeBron shut Kobe down while Kobe couldn't do the same to LeBron.
Yes Chris Paul is short because he is a point guard. Of course Kobe is a better rebounder than Chris Paul he does have him by 8 inches. Who is better at dishing out assists, if you say Kobe then you need to step back into reality. Chris Paul is one of the best point guards in the league and he is still young. Kobe's a 3 time champion because of someone called Shaq, the rest of the Lakers, and Phil Jackson.

Are you serious??? Do you really think other players fear Kobe defending against them? There are at least 10 other players who are hands down better defenders. Not to mention about 10 others who are too close to say who is better. Show me ONE game when the other team changed their offensive scheme because Kobe creates chaos on D!!!
What is most humorous about your "theory", is Kobe has the most technical fouls in the NBA!!! How in the world is he MVP? If he gets so many fouls that it causes him to lose his temper, how is he that good?
Futhermore, he doesn't even realize he is not as good as he thinks! Yeah, Kobe's the best defensive guard in the league. That's what being first team all defense means. First means he's the best. The 10 guys who you fail to name, are obviously not as good, or they would be first team all defense. Understand?
