I really think that the Jazz can beat them and most likely will. The reason why I say this is that for the last 15 games the Jazz have not been playing well at all. They can't hit the broad side of a barn, however they are keeping every game close. Game 1 against the Lakers the jazz looked tired in the 1 st half and Kobe went to town getting I don’t know how many 3 point plays. Then in the 2 nd half you saw a much more focused Jazz team that did not let Kobe get off the shot when he was fouled. As well in the 4th quarter they shot like 4 of 25 and no one can tell me that it was because of the Lakers defense. The Jazz just plain missed open looks. You can’t tell me that when the Jazz were down by 5 (for mostly the entire 4 th quarter) if they would have hit 45% of those shots that the ending of the game very well could have been different. In the next game Kobe will not get that many open looks and you will see more “HARD” fouls on Kobe to ensure that he does not get the “And 1”. The Jazz will play out of their current funk they are in and if the Lakers think that they will just walk all over the Jazz they loose one at home. Both teams will adjust for next game, but don't think that Kobe will be getting to the line as much as he did in the first game, as well don't expect sloppy play from the jazz either. This is going to be a very hard fought series. Who ever wins will win 7.
