I was at the race and we didn't really see a good angle as to what happened in the wreck.  From the angle that we saw, it almost looked like Jr got a little loose at the same time that Kyle slid up the track.  I don't particularly care for either driver, so I am not biased in saying that.  It was funny to see Jr nation so upset.

I am not a Jr fan either but I was fairly close to the wreck. I was sitting at Turn 3. Anyway ffrom my point of view it looked like Kyle Busch cheapshoted Jr by hitting him in the car door. I saw the replay on the Fanview. It was funny to see 60% of the stadium flip the bird and give the gracious F you to Busch. Any Kyle Busch fans that were there went into hiding. If Kyle Busch had a trailer there it would have caught on fire. But congrats to Clint Boyer on the win.

I was at the race as well and had a perfect view. Jr took the high line all the way around and Busch took the lower line. Before they even came together Busch drifted up into the center of the track where he had not been racing, probably because he was losing his grip on the bottom, and partially so he could get a little side draft. when they got side by side Busch got a little loose and actually turned his wheels up the track into Jr. He had to do it or spin out himself, so I don't think it had anything to do with Jr being there, but he did actually turn into him. It is a real shame because he ws going to get him in the next few turns anyway. It was obvious he was getting closer and closer each turn to getting his nose in far enough that Jr would not have been able to swoop back in from the top and cut him off. it is another example of Busch not showing the patience required to be a good driver. I am not a fan ofe either one either, but I have been impressed with jr's track awareness this year. He raced the way Busch does now for a lot of years so maybe now he has to put up with it a bit. I haven't heard what Busch had to say about it. No quotes from him in any story I read. I think he got wrecked the night before, had his slap fight with the other driver, also chidish) and decided hewould e the bully on this day. For today it worked. These guys aren't through tangling with each other this year.

The real story that noone is talking about is that Hamlin was the cause of the whole thing. If he gets off the track when his tire goes down, there is no caution and Jr drives to a 1+ second victory. Instead he stayed out until he stopped on the track on purpose to cause a caution and allow Busch to cloe it back up and race sided by side where he was best. Everyone was so worried about telling Hamlin how he got robbed, which he did, that they forgot to ask him about the two lap penalty he got for intentinally bringing out a caution.

Walking back in that huge throng, I bet any Kyle Busch fans just dumped their shirts in a trashcan.  The best part of the reaction was this one dude sitting near me (on the frontstretch) getting his beer can all the wall to the pit road wall.  It was a heck of a throw.

Finally, Nascar is becoming less boring.  Unfortunately........

Something has to be done about Kyle Busch, and soon.  I can't get past the thought that this was more than just racing.  Last week he bumped Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson from the lead at Talledega and last night it was Dale Earnhardt Jr.  Is it just me or does he have something against Hendricks Motor Sports?  He acted like a baby last year and got canned and now it continues to look like he hasn't learned a thing.

Who's next, teammates Danny Hamlin, Tony Stewart?  Or Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Mark Martin, Paul Menard, Martin Truex Jr, Kurt Busch, Ryan Newman, or maybe he'll do us a favor and pick on people his size like Johnny Sauter, Sam Hornish Jr, Michael McDowell, Michael Waldrip, John Andretti, David Stremme?

well i tell you what if it wasn't for Denny Hamlin racing around the track on a almost flat tire. and causing a caution. Dale Jr more than like  would have won the race. plus i think that Kyle Busch intentionally ran into Jr.  Cause Kyle Busch is just pissed cause Jr took his spot in the Hendrick stable.  I hope that Jr intentionally wreck Kyle Busch sometime in the near future.

This season in any level of Nascar it seems that when Busch is near the front at the end of the race their is going to be an accident or some type of questionable situation.  He had a run in on Friday night in the Nationwide series.  Earlier in the year he keep Johnny Benson from having a great finish in a truck race near the end.  I can't say I was surprised when he spun Jr. out yesterday.

I might be off base, but wasn't Dale Sr., The Intimidator, cheered for intentionally getting people out of his way?  From what I saw of the replays, Busch was trying to keep from spinning out, and Jr. might have been a little lower than his usual route.

it must run in the family, Kyle drives the same way his brother did a few years back, thankfully, Kurt seems to have matured a bit, Kyle is a dweeb and I hope everyone on the track turns on him.  As far as those fans who were at the race in Richmond who thought Kyle wrecking Dale Jr. was soooo funny, did you openly display your humor at the track when it happened?  No, I didn't think so (probably closet Kyle fans).

I don't blame Jr or Kyle as much as I blame Denny Hamlin .

Had Denny pitted and taken care of the flat tire like he should have and not sit out on the track and have the yellow flag called out before driving in for new tires this would not have been an issue.
