Saying that he ready to show the world what he can, he has not been sleeping, but work ing very hard. Gee an I thought he was. In all seriousness he could be a very exciting receiver and or kick returner. He welcomes the receiver the Giants just drafted. It is going to be avery competitive camp at a lot of positions. Lets have a repeat win of the supper bowl.

Seems like a good thread to open discussion about our overall receiving corps.  While Giants63 and Billy Smalls take a break to order a pizza, (seems like they need a snack as they discuss the Supper Bowl...LMAO).

I'd love to see someone step up this coming year , as Steve Smith did last year and provide us with a little stability looking forward.  Plax and Amani wont be around forever. Smith has shown consistency when healthy and has become an integral part of the offense.   Leaving tight ends out of the mix here, we have one dilemma regarding the wideouts or slot recievers.  We don't really know what the remaining recieving corps is capable of in true game conditions. We know about Hixon's return skills, we've seen Tyree's special teams ability, we've heard about Jennings great speed, Sinorice looks great in street clothes on the sidelines and now we have Super Mario.  Its all good. Each has ability, but nobody's really played the game at this level yet, except for Tyree (just a bit).   So, its a bit unsettling to know you've got 3 guys who can catch a ball (PLAX** AMANI** SMITH) 2 of whom can take it  50-60 yards to the "HOUSE" and 4 other recievers who are honestly unknown quantities who've got little or no NFL experience or stats at the recieving position.  (David Tyree, you were amazing in the playoffs and SBXLII )   Sinorice, this is it for you, my good man.  You've got to get on that field and produce or you're gonna be coaching high school football in Homestead, FL.

Would love to hear some input from the G-Men Fan Base around the country.  Lets leave Shockey, Boss, Matthews and any other TE or H-back off of this thread.

big thing to think about for next year for moss is

we have mario smith and  jennings  ...smith is the possesion reciever  so thats out for moss

mario can suposedly ( well see) stretch the field

jennings  is a taller quicker  deep threat  who can play special teams   so wheres that leave moss ?...

as far as tyree  the dude cant play wr all that well guys  stop over rating him because of 2 catches in the superbowl

at least we have alot of depth and potential  at this position for the 1st time in a while

by the way does any1 think  that toomer now reminds you of Ike Hilliard of old

I mean obviously a lot more talented  but  same type of routes and such

To me talking about what they can do now is a little bit to early. Looks good on paper. To me when preseason starts, then we can really start talking. Let the season begin!

Last year I posted about Bradshaw, that Tom would be foolish if he doesn't give him a chance to play because he was a rookie. We all know the rest of the story. This years draft, hopefully will produce the same results.

Another thing that no one talks about, is our assistant coaches, they are a good group, and that means all of them.

Unless Sinorice Moss starts looking like Randy Moss in training camp, he's gone. Plax, Toomer, Smith, Mario, Jennings, Tyree should be a great receiving corps for us.

I dont see why they would keep moss...his one real strenth is speep and I never seen him use it and he goes down whenever someone breathes on him..Mario has some size (compared to Moss)..Jennings and tyree are more in the way of Moss than Manningham will be...they would not have drafted Mario  if they liked moss or what he has shown thus far..but if he says hes gonna shock the world then I might have to reconsider my poor opinion of him..camp will be competitive but not because of Moss

Just a thought, can any of these extra receivers and qbs be used for a trade, instead of just letting them go. It appears that we have a lot of extra talent.

we do have alot of talent  but I wouldnt trade any of it until we have 3 starting wrs ( well capable of starting)  I want that 2 te system  so if shockey shuts up  he stays  and boss is cheap why let him leave

3rbs  the only 1 we would trade is ward ( who I really like 2 then agian I
