Thanks Feller68 for acknowledging that a Beaver's fan advice has value.
Even some of your fellow Duck fans acknowledge that anything can happen. I'm just pointing out that BSU will be better than you expect next year and if you don't give them the credit and respect they deserve, then that "anything can happen", just might happen.
I not saying that BSU will win. In fact, the odds are that Oregon will win but I believe the game will be alot closer than you think.
It should be a fun game to watch.

Shut up spaded was the best you could do, if you really think the ducks are that much better than the broncos I want what ever you delussional duck fans in Lane county are smoking( probably better than what we get over here in E.O.). I agreed with the beaver fan cuz he brought up some valid points. We didnt lose as many players as you guy's lost last year, and most of our starters know were recruited by you guys and chose to come to BSU over UofO, OSU,UW,WSU,UCLA. I mean come on when dixon got hurt the best the ducks could do, a "Top Tier" BCS program was put a F***ing leaf in at QB. Come on dont tell me that you have better QB's on the sidelines this year. I mean they seemed real impressive in their spring scrimmage. My cousin who is a season ticket holder even said that you guys could have some serious problems this year. We have just as much talent and are just as good as the DUCKS. As far as giving me a warm welcome know problem I invite all of you duck fans to meet up and have a beer with me before the game. I will be the tall guy with the shaved head and the hibiscus tattooed on my elbow, and I always have a great time when i get over to watch the ducks play in autzen.

Ummm - the Ducks are returning 15 starters. Yes they lost alot with Dixon & Stewart, but all other positions should be equal or an improvement. JJ will step in and be a huge threat in the RB slot. Another year of Chip Kelley I think the offense will be just as potent. Sporting News spiring poll has the Ducks at 14th. I know a spring poll doesn't mean much, but I think your cousins, brother in laws, friend is in the minority.

I could have done a lot better than "shut up". But i was in a hurry, i will gladly have have a beer with you man. I love chatting it up with other fans. Ill be the tall handsome guy with hair and no tat's. ;-) But honestly i dont smoke anything, and at Autzen (key word Autzen) i do believe Oregon is that much better than BSU. We have soo much talent its crazy, and thank you Observation for the assist on that. My prediction for a score is 34-7. Beat down in my book.

This statement is extremely false. Your starters were not recruited by anyone in the Pac-10 or else they would have gone to the Pac-10. They probably were invited to WALK ON. Just take a look. None, or very very little, got scholarship offers from Oregon or any other Pac school. Just because the recruit lists Pac 10 schools as a place they want to go on their profile, it doesn't mean the school wants them. Which was the case here.

Oregon's Nathan Costa would have got the nod to play if he hadn't torn his ACL weeks earlier in practice. After losing your top 4 QB's two games in a row, you're going to have some rough spots. Kelly was able to make Roper the starting QB and practice with the first team for a week during the Civil War against OSU. He played alright. A month of practice with the first team for Roper = 56-21 Ducks over USF in the Sun Bowl. Oh, and our QB's were real impressive during the spring game. And that's not even with our starting QB. The Broncos are the ones going to be bucked outta Autzen.

Just finished reading this thread and some time has passed since the last posting. New information has been provided since then. Is there any different opinions or comments?
I think Oregon will win by two scores in a very high scoring game. Boise does not start out well on the road but usually is playing better by half and should hang with Oregon after that.
The Washington game was a give away by BSU with a score called back then Tharpe had a melt down late when BSU was ralling back and a young receiver core. Our linebacker core could not contain a running QB and was our achilies heal all season. I beleive that has been addressed this year. We should be improved at QB with a freshman starter. He will have a couple games prior to the Oregon game so hopefully he is mentally prepared. Oregon is one of the toughest places to play so we will see.
BSU ofensive will once again be a top five offensive power house. All the skilled positions at running back and receivers have returned with good depth. I beleive Oregon will be our only loss this season.
It will be a good test for Oregon to keep the Bronco's scoring down. It will be a great game.

Honestly, this is the one game in the U of O season that I cannot predict. I think it will come down to the game plans put in place by the respective coaches. This could either be a shootout or a game won and lost in the trenches. I know BSU will be able to play with us | |
