I don't think that anybody can argue that Michigan has underachieved in recent years.  Lloyd is a nice guy but his teams were generally poorly coached any poorly conditioned.  Even so, we were 1 cheesy late hit away from playing for the NC in 2006 rather than tUoOS.  That was too bad, too, because we own the SEC just like the SEC owns the buckeyes.  It certainly would have been closer than 41-14.

6-1 aside, shouldn't tUoOS fans be concerned that we were able to play them close despite the huge handicap of dealing with Lloyd and his staff?

Also, tUoOS fans might want to shy away from criticizing others for failing to show up for the biggest games.  Something about people living in glass houses . . .

Quit making excuses. michigan got some nice phantom interference calls. OSU never trailed after they tied it at 7. Score was closer than the game. Michigan had zero shot to win the game. Watch the game again. every single time Michigan had a chance to tie or take the lead they basically went three and out.

2006 was a great game...probably the best game Michigan has played since Tressel has come to Columbus...including 2003. But you lost, again...and then got throttled by USC.

I have no problem throwing stones at Michigan for failing to show up for THE Big Game. In all reality, without Braylon Edwards, your last victory would be 2000.

I would, however, start stockpiling Motor City Bowl Tickets...and watching that Sparty doesn't take over the state. Dantonio is quietly building something in East Lansing. But, of course, if Michigan loses that game you whiners will have some reason why
